I had right hip total replacement surgery with robot on October 28. I had stabbing and excruciating pain before. No excruciating pain after just soreness but was expected after. Dr vidorchik assured me from September 3 visit that I will feel better after surgery. He saw I was upset on September 3 and made me feel positive about the surgery. Before surgery dr v came into the room where nurses and MD came in and I was upset because i.never had major surgery and he calmed me down He is a very very caring and sympathetic doctor with great bedside manner. There are no doctors like him Dr v is the best. Thanks Dr v for giving me my life back. You are the best! God bless you! Love you!

The best orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, PERIOD. My own GP raved about Dr. Vigdorchik when asked! From my first call to the office at HSS, until my post op visit, every person and experience was exceptional. I had a full hip replacement- in addition to age degeneration, I had been injured and crushed my hip socket. Dr. Vigdorchik used robot assisted technology and I’m confident that his precision had a huge impact on my outcome. Very little pain, I was walking same day gingerly with help, but back to usual remarkably fast. Unbelievable! In addition to his incredible skill, Dr. Vigdorchik is unbelievably warm and authentic. I’ve already referred my mother to him. Love Dr. Vigdorchik and his whole staff!!

Dr. Vigdorchik was thorough, comprehensive in his responses to any questions and prioritized resolving my issues as quickly as possible. I was in badly need of a hip replacement and was not impressed after meeting with an initial recommendation from my orthopedist for another doctor at a different facility. I needed to find someone better. My research led me to Dr. Vigdorchik and HSS and I could not be happier with the outcome. I had a total right hip replacement and was home in my own bed the next day. My recovery has been fantastic. HSS is an awesome institution. Every single person I dealt did everything they could to ensure I understood what was happening. Communication was paramount. Attention to infection prevention was a priority. I am thrilled with the outcome and have already recommended HSS / Dr Vigdorchik to others. I honestly don’t know why anyone would go anywhere else.

Saw this guy for a hip evaluation and seemed jittery and agitated, couldn’t seem to focus on my history and easily distracted. Came across as overwhelmed. Was a second opinion, not worth it. Swore I smelled some THC on his clothing, but left.

I would never recommend this surgeon to anyone. He is extremely disrespectful & inexperienced.

Dr Vigdorchik is a excellent surgeon! I had a total hip replacement and finally I’m not in excruciating pain as prior to meeting him. Anyone that gave him a low score needs to see a psychiatrist!

I've seen Dr. Vigdorchik several times for hip bursitis. He is clearly on the top of his game and treated in well while discussing my various options and spending time to discuss my workout exercises. Highly recommended

After. partial knee replacement my knee was not healing I went back for a consultation and he said I was putting pressure on him to fix it an then said he will do an entire knee replacement in an threatening tone. he originally told me my knee was great except the knee cap. I left his office stunned and would not go back to him again.
