Dr. Mark Samuel Litwin, MD

This doctor is one of the worst doctors with whom I have ever had the unfortunate experience of seeing. He is condescending, arrogant and talks down to his patients. Or maybe it was just me because I do not lack melanin. He also seems very dismissive of his residents.

He is absolutely brilliant. He's Chairperson of UCLA Urology Dept (in the top ten in the US). Some here found his style brusque. If you need hand-holding and smiles, go to Rent-a-Friend; if you need one of the very best urologists in America, go to Litwin and UCLA. Take a look at his CV - it is amazing.

Hands down, this man is the best Urology Doctor I've ever met in my life. Very knowledgeable, caring and responsive. He saved my life.

He has zero communication skills, accepts in a tiny room, was standing the all consultation half way outside rash, annoying student asking thousands of questions before you see hine with the longest check in application you’ll ever experience which he never batter to take a look,and not personal

I researched Urologists based on their skills and education, and found Dr. Litwin was about as good as you can get when it comes to Urology. I think he knows his business, he is a no nonsense kind of a guy, I think he sees a lot of patience in a day, and he don't have a lot of time for conversation, but he will answer all of your questions. I live in Laguna Niguel, and I think the long drive to UCLA to see him is worth the drive.

We came for a very serious consultation, we filled up a questionnaire with hundreds of questions before we got to see him, then we entered to a very tiny room and someone who seems as medical student asking us more questions without even taking or looking on the questionnaire that we just filled for 2 hours, Then Doctor Litwin opened the door and stayed stastanding next to the door throughput the all meeting, 2 chairs only, the medical student statyed in the room typing,, no privacy, Doctor was rash, uncaring and arrogant and didn’t seems caring at all, give my husband consultation when he stands with the door half open and medical student present in the room is unethical and rude, they treat patients like numbers and not like humans!!!

OUR EXPERIENCE TO DR LITWINS WAS SECOND TO NONE. HE PROVIDED EXCELLENT CARE, ALWAYS AVAILABLE, PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, EXTREMELY THOROUGH, EXCELLENT SURGEON, HIS STAFF WAS GREAT....CANT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HIM. VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE HIM AS MY DR. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE NEEDING UROLOGICAL CARE.
