Dr. Pravin Kumar Muniyappa, MD

A complicated misdiagnosis of a rare allergy disease initally improved matters and cause long term complications from the actual problem. Was kind but utterly wrong.

Dr Muniyappa is an excellent doctor - he pays attention to what you say and asks questions to fully understand you and your health. He has helped me a great deal - my asthma and allergies are under the best control they have ever been thanks to him. He's great - his questions are meant to understand and he is very insightful.

I hope that Dr Muniyappa grows to understand how to speak patients with respect, encouragement and thoughtfulness. On numerous occasions he made us feel talked down to, and triggered. He’d note on our child’s slower development in abrupt ways (we already see specialists on development matters), he’d comment on our appearance, and not listen to our concerns. It was so weird. We finally switched allergists and have felt respected and listened to ever since. De Muniyappa May have great skills as a physician, maybe, but I care about developing a trusting and caring relationships with our children’s doctors and he needs a lot of improvement in this area.

Let's start saying that this rude doctor talks to his patients like they were in a boot camp. His intimidating way of communicating doesn't let patients express their symptoms. He told my son his skin looks very messed up. ?? in a nasty way and tone, making my son feel horrible and lowering his self-esteem. His words are very denigrating for any patient especially a teenager. I felt very insulted as a mom bringing my child this man that has a very poor work ethic and is definitely not a people person. He also treated his nurse very rude and I was able to see on her face how embarrassed she was in the way he was talking to me and my son. Lastly this man says like 100 words in a minute which you can already picture how quick he talks resulting in patients leaving his office clueless. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Doctor PRAVIN MUNIYAPPA to NOONE.

The doctor told me to continue taken a medication that I brought he said take for one more week but I had only two tablets left he told me that the medicine will be delivered to my home he also gave me a copy of what he prescribed, when got hoe I noticed that he did not prescribed more of the medicine I brought I called several times until they answered,I explained what was happening and the nurse said they will send a prescription to my pharmacy but I never got any medication neither from my pharmacy nor from the farmacy he said will deliver the medicine. I will never go to that doctor again I hope this helps to prevent people to go through what I went
