Dr. Stephen Michael Gollomp, MD

This board certified neurologist misdiagnosed me several years ago when I presented to Lankenau Hospital with progressive ataxia and stroke symptoms. I was later properly diagnosed at a hospital in Philadelphia. When I presented to the emergency room, Dr. Gollomp was consulted (as we knew each other outside the hospital) but he did not come to see me until the next day at 1 PM. I saw him twice after and both times he continued to misdiagnose me. He hardly put his hands on me, a painfully pathetic physical examination. ( I am a physician also) Thankfully, I’ve made an excellent recovery with the help of several excellent physicians in the Philadelphia area. I found Dr. Gollomp to be arrogant, cavalier and a very poor hands-on physician. I would not recommend him for neurologic consultation.

I've had good experiences with Dr.for an ongoing issue at this time.

Im a pharmacist that contacted Dr Gollomps office to get clarification on a prescription that was sent over electronically. The directions were titrating a new medication down (instead of the normal titrating up). The message I received back (from either the MD directly or someone extremely rude in his office) said " The initial prescription was perfectly clear and was well understood by the patient. There was NO reason for you to ask for clarification unless you do NOT understand American English." As a fellow professional, this kind of behavior is extremely unacceptable and I would HIGHLY recommend not using or visiting this MD due to such unprofessional judgement.

Horrible staff....cold, aloof and quite obnoxious. The Dr. seemed good the few times we saw him but when an serious issue arose we were told there was no availability and the secretary (really!) informed us we should either go the emergency room (?) or, she quoted Dr. Gollomp, find a new neurologist and move on! We sure did. How unprofessional, how cruel. Dr. Gollomp wouldn't even return a phone call.

I had seen at least three other neurologists for my problem. Dr Gollomp came highly recommended. He is knowledgable and truly caring as is his entire office. I couldn't be more pleased.

A kind, compassionate Dr who is extremely knowledgable. He takes his time, explains everything and makes you feel so comfortable. He is the best of the best. I am fortunate to have found him

He has been with me for the 15 years since my PArkinson's diagnosis. I am fortunate to have found a knowledgeble and caring physician to help me understand and live my life to the fullest. He takes whatever time is needed to answer your questions and totally understand you.

If you are fortunate to have this man as your phsyician, you can do no better. He listens - never rushes you, and works to find the best solution to your issues. One of the top Parkinson's physicians in the country, he has been determined to give my husband the best life quality available.Over the past 15 years, he has always been available, and knowledgeble on the latest advances in Parkinson's.
