Dr. Stuart Robert Stark, MD

I have dealt with migraine headaches for many many years, taking treatments and meds that did little to help. Dr. Stark immediately diagnosed the cause of my headaches, and gave me a prescription that takes care of my pain within an hour. I will be forever grateful. He is easy to talk to and will take as much time as needed to answer questions. I also love his receptionist Kathy. She is friendly, and helpful, and always makes time to chat for a minute to two. It is a relaxing atmosphere, important especially for the patients who come into the office. :-)

He has been my doctor for 30 year or more, treating me for migraine headaches. I would never go to anyone else. In fact I make a 5 hour round trip every six months to see him.

I have been treated by Dr. Stark for over 15 years. He was able to diagnose the condition I have when so many other doctors failed His outstanding care changed my life.

Does not talk to you, he talks at you. Never once ask me to tell him about why I was there, only looked at the form I filled out and than told me what to try. I like a doctor that wants you to explain why you are there in your own words. Left very frustrated. Treatment he started me on made the condition worse, had to stop after just a few days.

Had no help with the office help. I decided to call someone else.

Dr. Stark has basically abandoned my friend without the courtesy of even saying 'I don't want to treat you, you'd be better off with another provider'. Doesn't return phone calls, can't schedule office visits, can't recommend against enough. It's bad enough having neurological symptoms but feeling powerless to get treated is even worse yet.

Dr Stark is a magnificent neurologist specializing in migraines. Before I found Dr Stark, I had been to four official headache clinics around the country (San Diego, St Louis, Philadelphia, San Francisco - three of the four university-related) and more neurologists than I can remember, and none had been able to giver me my life back until Dr Stark. I'd been in emergency rooms from Honolulu to Boston, since I travel for business. I was referred to Dr Stark by another neurologist, since Dr Stark is known to handle difficult cases. My life is now completely under control, I travel on business without incident, and I haven't been in an emergency room in several years. Moreover, whenever I need anything, such as a letter to carry my injectables on airplanes, his staff has it done immediately and I never have to ask twice. I'm 65 now, and Dr Stark is THE most effective doctor I've ever been to in my life..... Most doctors can treat easy cases, but Dr Stark is in a whole other class -… if you have difficult migraines, don't hesitate to see him!

My life has not been the same as far as frequent and terrible migraines since I was referred to Dr. Stark. He prescribed meds for me that stop my migraines before they get to bad and also prescribed meds for nausea and muscle spasms that go along with my migraines. He is professional, kind and compassionate. I highly recommend him.

I came to him with occipital neurolgia - an inflamation of a nerve on the left side of my head. I was in tremendous pain. I had been to a pain treatment center in Springfield which not only didn't help but their methods created more pain. He diagnosed it right away and treated it promptly and correctly. Within a visit or two my pain was entirely gone. That was about 6 years ago and it has not returned. At 72, it gave me a new lease on life. I think he's the greatest and I would highly recommend him to everyone.
