Dr Leffingwell cared for my mother for 23 years, and he was alway courteous and had a concerned attitude towards my mother,. He was the reason she lived to 96 years old. I trust Dr Leffingwell.

I have seen this doctor for at least twenty years and it's very hard for me to believe the negative reviews on this site. He has always been accurate in his diagnosis, easy to contact and make an appointment, or renew a prescription. He spends time to listen to concerns you have even though the appointment was for something else, therefore some possibly long waits. I would rather have a doctor that I had to wait for than one that rushes you through the appointment. I have a few times been ill and not able to come in with the flu or an infection and have received advice and a prescription by phone. An excellent doctor and overall nice person.

This Dr. has many problems....and attitude (as mentioned in another post) is only one! When his patients reach a certain age he completely loses interest. I've been misdiagnosed by him more than once but the last time required surgery! His office conditions are deplorable!

After ordering lab work that clearly showed thyroid levels well below the lowest normal range for my moms thyroid condition, he told us they were fine and he would not order a change in her medicine. He said it was "normal for someone her age to sleep all the time". When our home nurse showed us the lab work clearly showed her thyroid abnormally low, I called his office to ask why he did not think an adjustment was called for. It took 3 days and 2 phone calls to get a call back and when I did it was with an attitude. I do not want a dr and staff who make me feel like I am annoying them with my questions, and I do not appreciate the attitude that after a certain age is doesnt matter anymore. I would not recommend this Dr to anyone.

He saved my life several times by correctly diagnosing my problem & quickly getting me in to see a specialist. A wonderful man, understanding, & most willing to listen.
