Dr. Achraf Ali Makki, MD

I saw Dr, Makki 12 yrs ago. he treated me for over a tear. He was the ONLY dr. that ever helped and gave me relief from horrible headaches and neck pain. I was on Vocational rehab, which covered everything. Now my only med coverage is Medicaid. I cannot find a qualified dr. I am right back where I was 12 yrs ago. I need facet injections and cannot see a dr who will do them. I am chronic pain with debilitating headaches. A "headache specialist" told me to take Excedrin! I am at the end of my rope. I don't know whgat to do anymore, except give up.

Over all the Dr was very concerned with my mother and her well being(miss Braxton ) . Takes time to set and talk with her and let her explain how she is. She has been diagnosed with alhimers and it is very scary for her. My mom loves the Dr and wouldn't think of using anyone else. Nor would we. Thank you Dr makki for all you do..don't know where we would be without you and your staff. Thank you the Braxton family

This is a very busy office and sometimes the patient load appears overwhelming, so it isn't unusual to wait as long as an hour past your appointment time... yet Dr. Makki has provided the best medical care for my chronic and degenerating condition I have received in over 17 years. He's current, not afraid to refer to others if it might help, he listens, he's decisive and has a caring manner. His care worth the wait.

Zero wait time, a thoroughly competent and compassionate physician

I just think the world of Dr. Makki. But there are so many doctors in this office. They will even send you to another building that doesn't have the proper stuff to give the patient the proper check-up. That is what upsets me more than anything. Here I am on disablity and trying to make end meet at home. And I get sent to see a doctor that can't really do nothing for me because they sent me to a building where he doesn't have any of his machines. He gets upset because I came, but I had already told the girls that I am not suspose to go there. But they still seem to keep trying to send me to these other buildings. I can't afford to go see a doctor that can't do nothing for me. It upsets Dr. Makki and me also. That's just a waste of money. Money that I do not have. Dr. Makki is a great person and takes the time with his patients that should be taken. But when he can't do the right or proper check-up on the patient than that patient suffers for it. I feel like there is just to many chiefs… in this building and not enough indians.
