Dr. Adam Robert Jaffe

I was referred to Dr Jaffe by my PCP for an unknown medical issue. He didn’t believe me, and instead said that it was stress related. He suggested that I see a talk therapist - he accused me of being a hypochondriac without actually saying the word. I continued to advocate for myself, and a Neurologist at Duke ordered the necessary tests. She diagnosed me with Myotonia Congenita, a muscle disorder. I have a gene defect on the CLCN1 gene, which was located with a simple genetic test. Save yourself the time and trouble, and see a better Neurologist.

This doctor is nice enough for the 5 minutes I see him but his staff is awful. My treatment has been canceled indefinitely THAT I NEED TO LIVE because I guess he only sees one patient a week. These people do not value your life. They do not care if you die or end up horribly crippled or blind. They are more interested in their cell phones while the office phone rings off the hook. Patient care is obviously not a priority. If you would like to live I would not suggest going to Lebaur Neurology. If you would like to make an appointment, they have one available at 3:30am in 2043, y'know, if you live that long.
