Dr. Alexandra Christine Chebil, MD

I have been dealing with eye issues and health problems for the PAST YEAR stemming from the surgery, her prescription of steroid drops for my eyes after lasik. Why did she prescribe them? She said they would help with my dry eyes from the surgery. Did she ever do a dry eye test? No. Did she ever tell me how long I should take them? No.Every opthamologist I have gone to since has asked why on earth she would prescribe me steroid eye drops after surgery . Months later, I began having extreme pain behind my left eye, redness and loss of vision. When I went in she said "I don't think you're crazy, but I don't see anything like what you're describing."Because the vision loss was so severe after she did the surgery, I checked myself into the hospital, and thank god I did. Do not go here she ends up blaming you for the problem can you belive that.

3 co-workers recommended Dr. Chebil for Lasik but I was still scared.I went in for the consultation and was so impressed by her caring attitude I decided to have Lasik done right then and there.That was a month ago and my vision is now 20/15.I could probably see 20/10 if she had a smaller line. No pain but a lot of gain with this Doc and Lasik!

Dr. Chebil saved my vision! I couldnt wear contacts anymore because I got a terrible allergy to all the cleaning solutions out there so something needed to be done. I love to swim and dance and glasses just werent an option. Many of my co-workers had their vision fixed by Dr. Chebil so she was a natural choice. My initial contact at the office was with Jennifer who was extremely helpful in scheduling my initial consultation. She even worked with me to get me in on a Saturday so I didnt need to take time off work.I met with Dr. Chebil who examined my eyes and explained the whole procedure to me and my family. It all sounded so simple I couldnt wait! The procedure was done the next week and I was impressed by how easy everything was;-a bit of stinging when the drops were put it in my eyes but nothing unpleasant at all. If you are at all nervous, go for the Valium they offer-it just cuts the edge and makes you rest better afterwards. The nice part was that Dr. Chebil explained the whole… thing as we went along so it really made me feel safe.That night, my eyes were a bit blurry but I could tell that my vision was getting better by the hour. Dr. Chebil called me later on to see how I was doing-what a nice touch that was!The next day I could drive myself in for my one-day visit. My vision was 20/15 right eye, 20/20 in the left and one week later they were both 20/15. I could never see that well even with brand new contacts because of my huge astigmatism.So, I am one happy camper and have only great things to say about Lasik, Dr. Chebil and the staff at the Lasik Center Medical Group in Irvine. I liked the way Dr. Chebil explained how Lasik works and what it would do for my vision. She gave a clear explanation and answered all my questions clearly and honestly. I was able to have the procedure on Saturday, which really helped with scheduling so I didn't have to take time off work. I especially liked Jennifer (front desk) and Marsha (technician). The office was a bit hard to find since Martin is a small street. Use "googlemaps" then it's easy! My vision is great, so thanks to Dr. Chebil and staff. I have already referred 3 people to her.

I have had Dr Chebil perform my Lasik surgery and most recently had an Active FX treatment. I am 50 and my goal with the Active FX procedure was to attempt to remove wrinkles, tighten skin, and smooth out the overall appearance of my face and neck. I healed quickly and was able to wear make-up in a week. I am very pleased with the treatment results, and the follow-up and service by Dr. Chebil and her staff.

I had Lasik with Dr. Chebil 10 years ago and couldn't be happier with my vision. She treats her patients like family and is very trustworthy.I highly recommend her to anyone seeking LASIK.
