Anand Prasad, MD

Dr. Anand Prasad specializes in cardiovascular disease with advanced training in interventional cardiology. He completed his internal medicine residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 2003, followed by a research fellowship there in 2004. Dr. Prasad then pursued cardiology fellowship training at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, finishing in 2007, and completed specialized interventional cardiology fellowship training at University of California Medical Center San Diego in 2009. He speaks English.

Dr. Prasad practices at CHRISTUS SANTA ROSA HOSPITAL MEDICAL CENTER and sees patients in San Antonio, Texas. His expertise includes treating abnormal heart test results and acute coronary syndrome. He performs specialized procedures such as atherectomy and provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing heart emergencies. Dr. Prasad also addresses circulation problems in the arms and legs.
