Dr. Andrew Steven Gutterman, MD

I had a blemish on my face. He took a sample for a biopsy, which came back negative. I asked him what it could be. His response was "I don't know", and I left the office without a diagnosis. He did not appear to have the least bit of interest in finding an answer to the condition I came in to have diagnosed.

Waited over 1 hour to be seen.

He was recommended to me by another doctor but would not bring my dog to him. He treated my to sons and myself. On each occasion we had to seek other medical care. One son had a planters wart. He was stretching out the treatments and leaving him in pain. I ended up curing it myself. The other had poison ivy. He did very little and we ended up in the emergency room. My story was similar.

I had a follow up apt with the doctor after a topical cream he ordered did'nt work. I waited 40 min after I was told the doctor was running 15 min late and I had to leave and return to work. I had recieved no phone calls to alert me to this even though as I sat in the waiting room I watched one staff member read a magazine and another have a personel conversation on the phone for 30 min.

Was under his care for over a year. No help whatsoever, my condition still exists. Find another doctor.

His bedside manner and thoroughness are outstanding. He is careful to fully explain everything and gives you resources to find good information about your skin condition. Very caring.
