Dr. Anita Lee Breckenridge, MD

I have had only good experiences with Dr. Breckenridge. My daughter is 2 1/2 years old, and has been a patient of Dr. B since age 1. As you can imagine, this is a very difficult age to work with in a medical setting. But Dr. B is always patient and friendly. She has lots of toys, gadgets, and tricks to help your child feel comfortable...and also to help complete her exams fully. There is also an optical shop on site, so you can purchase your child's eyeware (and also receive free adjustments!) right away.My daughter is near-sighted, and also has one eye that turns inward a bit (a "lazy eye"). With Dr. B's care and recommendations, both conditions are improving. By age 7 or so, it is estimated that my daughter won't even need glasses anymore. I am so glad I took my pediatrician's advice and trusted my baby's eyes to Dr. B!

After going to Dr. B. once or twice yearly for three years she still doesn't know us. She seems to be a back up or part time physician. Twice she has written prescriptions for my son and twice I had to go in for appointments because the Rx was off. Also, she is difficult to reach other than during appointments, and the receptionists have no manners.
