Where do I begin? Dr. Costa has been treating both of my knees for two years. They’re both bone on bone. I decided to get a knee replacement on my left knee. Scheduled for June 2 at Riverview Hospital. At the post-op appoint I met Bobbi, Physician Assistant. She showed me the ex-ray that was taken when I arrived. I was simply amazed. My left knee looked like an arrow and my right knee looked like a bow. It’s a small miracle! The recovery is a little painful but well worth it! I came home walking with a walker! It’s 3 weeks and I can stand without the walker. I cannot stand for more than 30 minutes approximately. I can absolutely feel the difference. About Dr. Costa? GOD blessed him with a brilliant mind. He used his mind diligently throughout his educational career. The result is an absolutely gifted surgeon. As far as his character? He’s empathetic, caring, honest, and kind. I’ll be s part of his life because I’m getting a knee replacement on my right knee in… October. I cannot wait! So GOD BLESS him all of the days of his life! ??

There is no question as to why Dr. Costa is the most sought after orthopedic surgeon in Monmouth County. He is a brilliant surgeon who has earned the trust of his fellow MD’s when they need a hip or knee replacement. Our family dermatologist needed one of these surgeries and sought out Dr. Costa for help. My wife met with him recently regarding her knee pain. She told me that she was amazed at how well I had Recovered from my knee replacement and would want him to do the surgery for her. But after studying her X-ray and her knee itself, he told her what she needed was physical therapy, not surgery. Dr. Costa was kind, caring and provided a full explanation of my ailing knee. Currently, I am now able to continue my daily activities without knee pressure & stiffness. This facility is well-run and staff is very efficient.

Dr. Costa is a wonderful surgeon. I am so very happy that serendipity led me to his office. I feel safe in his hands and am happy that soon I will be able to dance once again :)

Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to meet with this doctor because of the staff member Margaret who honestly gives very bad impression of this practice.She was very talkative, asking for a Christmas present for scheduling an appointment, dishonest,didn’t want to do her job and behaved very shady instead of verifying our insurance info.I hope doctors will see my review and correct this situation.Its an embarrassment to have unprofessional person like her in the office and to deal with patients.I had a feeling like someone is trying to sell us something which is not fresh anymore.Me and my husband decided not to go.I am a medical professional and very familiar with insurance verification protocol and how it should be handled.

My experience with my knee replacement was excellent. Surgery went well. I felt relief from my pain , the therapy went smooth. After 6 months Dr Costa did my other knee. Dr is compassionate, listens to your concerns and will explain in terms you can understand. I recommend Dr. Costa to all who need a knee or hip replacement. Excellent Dr.
