I’m Robert M. I had calcaneaus fractures on both my ankles and dr D did both my surgery’s and it went excellent. I was in critical condition in really bad shape the fractures were really bad. I had to jump from the third floor of my apartment building. Do to a fire in the building I had got trapped in the back hallway the fire exit. I had no choice I was blinded by the smoke there was a lot of stuff blocking the stairs and hallway for me to get down the stairs. I was trapped the only thing I seen was the window and I thought I was gonna die that was it until I seen the window. I got a wife son a family I had to survive and thank god I did survive. It was a long fall it was scary it was bad. Dr dimitroulias had saved my ankles saved my life. He was excellent and really cared to do whatever he could to get me back to as normal as I could be. Be able to walk again. I will walk again because of doctor dimitroulias and the medical team at Jacobi medical center. They were all amazing and… really cared and did what they could to help me. They were excellent and very professional. Thank you doctor apastolos dimitroulias I thank you so much I appreciate you I am grateful for you doing the best you could do at what you are the best at your a great orthopedic and I am gonna be able to walk again and live life thank you doctor dimitroulias me and my family thank you.

Dr. D is what you want in a surgeon. He is an excellent surgeon with an Outstanding bedside manner! He came to see my daughter personally twice after the surgery to explain any and all of our questions! He was wonderful at the follow up clinic appointment as well. Simply, Dr. D made a terrible situation “THE BIT” better that we needed! Thank You Dr. D for bringing HUMANITY to your patients!

Dr. "D" operated on my 95 y/o Mom twice - she had both femurs fractured. In spite of her age, he got her through with the repairs. If you are lucky enough to have Dr. "D" operate on you or your loved one, consider yourself blessed. He is talented, is a true gentleman, kind, caring, considerate, and just plain nice and approachable. You couldn't ask for more in a surgeon.
