Dr. Brian David Beyerl, MD

In 2016 Dr. Beyerl diagnosed and treated me by surgery for severe stenosis. I had gone to three other neurosurgeons for an evaluation, and I wouldn't let them touch me with a butter knife. But Dr. Beyerl was calming yet realistic, which I appreciated The surgery was extremely successful; I was looking at possible paralysis from the neck down, and I have regained about 90% of function. Dr. Beyerl was extremely supportive, not only to me, but to my family after the surgery, and afterwords, as I had complications post-surgery and he was right there for me. He gets the highest recommendation from me.

Dr Beryl performed 1 lower back and 1 Neck Surgery on me. I've been 100% free for the last 5 years since my last surgery. I trust Dr. Beryl to do any surgery on me and highly recommend him to others.

Dr Beyerl is a master in neurosurgery. He removed a large meningioma from my mother's brain, and less than 2 weeks later she was back at work and living her life to the fullest. His decision making was geared towards her age and possible risks.

This was a scary thing to find out and tht he wanted to make sure he got the right diagnoses he sent it out to his professors he spent a lot of time with my husband and I during this time I love him very much for being my dr.

I had a very serious rupture, explosion really, in my lumbar/sacral spine that left me nearly paralyzed. Dr. Beyerl prescribed an MRI for the day I was seeing him with rushed results- and thank goodness he did, upon seeing the results, he told my parents and myself that it was one of the worst ruptures he had ever seen, and was concerned about my bowel/bladder/sexual function after surgery, as there were at least 20 shards of discs wrapped up in that sacred group of nerves. He scheduled emergency surgery for the next day. I was in ICU at Overlook Hospital, where the staff was AMAZING. Dr. Beyerl's nurse team is unbelievable. After having my surgery, I have no residual numbness or radiating pain, and have had not one sciatic attack since. He is a great doctor, with a wonderful and caring staff. There is one receptionist there that I don't particularly care for, so if you call and speak to a very rude woman, whose voicemail ends with "have a blessed day," you'll know who I'm… talking about.

Chose one of the rare moments when a patient had no family members with her (a 78 yr old woman) to inform her that she had a malignant tumor.Incidentally, she did not.Due to blood thinners, surgery could not be performed until Monday. He scheduled it for Wednesday afternoon. On Tuesday the abcess that he had incorrectly decided was a tumor (without a biopsy) burst, spreading the infection from 1 localized area to basically everywhere.We did not hear the word "coma" used until 3 days later when we were questioning just how long he intended to keep her so sedated that she was unconscious.
