Dr. Subach listens to what you have to say and will leave no stone unturned trying to alleviate or to lesson your pain. When other doctors never told me of my diagnosis and put me through 25+ shots with no relief, i finally went to Dr. Subach. He was highly suggested by my physical therapist and two of my friends got "their life back" because they went to Dr Subach. It takes me 2 to 2.5 hours to drive from my home to his office in Oxon Hill, but he is worth the drive. As of two weeks ago, I now have a SCS Nevro Spinal Stimulator and am feeling less pain. I'm hopeful that within the next few months to a year, I will have my life back... Running, hiking, biking, and being able to bend over and stand up without holding on to something. I'm hopeful that the two fusions I need will be delayed for many years.

Dr. Subach is a terrible physician and a very poor surgeon.

My daughter had a chronic back problem that multiple doctors could not diagnose. Dr. Subach and his team took an amazingly thorough history and he gave her a thorough exam. He was able to diagnose her problem where other, less thorough doctors missed it. He give her a course of treatment that made a significant difference while avoiding surgery. All the while he was kind, personable and genuinely interested in helping my daughter. He is skilled, has a great bedside manner and is totally focused on doing whatever he can to help. I believe his motivation is purely patient care, NOT billing.
