This place has no value for Ethics. Do your homework before you trust this place with your health. Doctor decides what billing code to use to extract maximum money out of you. It does not matter what reason you went to see the doctor, insurance and everywhere else you will be tagged with some other eye issues. I would not recommend anyone to this facility ever again. You are stuck with this big bill and doctor won't talk to you to confront the issue. Be Aware...spread the word and help stop this crime!

You can only add a review once a month. I had to wait a month to update my previous post. I was very angry at the fact that I needed to make all extra payments before I get my kid's record and subscription released as I was told by the office. However, a couple of days later, I received a voicemail from the office asking about a fax number to fax the needed documents. Out of honesty, I'm writing this post.

I was misinformed about the copay to be $60. Had no idea the doctor is a specialist when my kids can get free vision exam elsewhere. It's totally my fault. Insurance denied payment. Now I owe this clinic $180. I'm paying in increments of $45 a month as I'm suffering with multiple medical bills, not that I choose to be in such a position! They won't release my kids records (including a prescription for eye glasses) until all payments go through. Professionally the doctor did his job, however, I cannot understand how you can cure people when you have no humanity at heart. I'm totally disappointed by doctors becoming money collecting machines rather than choosing the profession to help others.

I visited this Dr. several times, I had to wait for about 35 min before was called in each time. The nurse needs to improve her professionalism.

I have been escorting my elderly grandfather to his appointments with Dr. B. Phillips for a year and half. Unlike other doctors that we have been to, Dr. Phillips takes time with each of his patients and listens to their concerns carefully. To me, this compensates for the wait because you know he is providing each patient with that level of caring. He has also been able to preserve my grandfather's sight in his remaining functioning eye through his careful monitoring and care. I am extremely greatful to have such a competent and personable doctor in my area. Highly recommended!
