Dr. Carl Sanford Carlson Jr, MD

I’ve had 2 knees replaced and have had no problem. He is a compassion and friendly doctor.

I visited his office and did not listen to me and my pain. I am very disapointed with the professionalism from him and the way he talked about his workers comp cases. It's all about the money and not the well being of patients.

This Dr and his staff are more concerned about creating emotional dilemmas than they are with treating patients. In the office, he spent more time talking about all the things he "doesn't do anymore" than evaluating my 83 year old father. That should have been a hint. Then the Dr did not have the time to de-conflict my fathers medication in a timely enough manner to accomplish the scheduled surgery which we had waited for for 3 months, but he had plenty of time to call us up and "chew us out" because we had the nerve to ask his office staff a few politely worded direct questions (like, "do you need us to do this") After he cancelled the surgery, his office staff called again the next morning to do more "scab picking" but mainly to remind us one more time of their "power". This guy needs to retire and his staff needs to go work in a place that has actual performance standards.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carlson for several years and have had several surgeries performed by him and would not go to anyone else. He is a very caring and understanding doctor.
