Dr. Chester Joseph Maxson, MD

Dr Maxson should not be allowed to practice. His nurse practitioner said my son need a colonoscopy. My son did not understand why. I called his office over 20 times. They refused to call me back. The manager refuse to talk to me instead sent a certified letter to my son which was refused. I called the Doctor many times. He would not return a call. His office staff is rude. If a doctor refused to speak to the patients father who was granted permission he must be very unprofessional. He has been turned in to the Florida medical board. His nurse practitioner Adreas should not be allowed to practice. Stay away from this Doctor. All I wanted to know is why and what do they think this procedure was needed. Maybe just to scam me and the Insurance company. Legal is next.

Dr. Maxson is not a good doctor and his office is extremely disorganized. Within our five-minute appointment, he diagnosed me with two conditions without physically examining me. He told me that I needed to have an endoscopy performed, so I complied. He performed an endoscopy and when I tried to follow up, his West Palm Beach office cancelled and re-scheduled my appointments twice without my consent. His office also never sent over any of my results to my primary physician, although we requested these documents three times before he "left" Mount Sinai. He doesn't have a nice bedside manner, his arrogance as a doctor makes it hard to feel comfortable around him. I do not recommend him at all.

Dr. Maxson’s expertise is top notch! I recently had a colonoscopy where he found a “hidden” precancerous polyp which is life-saving to me given my mothers history with colon cancer. Listens carefully and answers questions clearly. Does not seem to be rushed when with you.

My recent visit to Dr.Maxsons office was excellent, I met with the nurse practitioner, she is very nice and thorough. I told her my symptoms, and instead of passing it off as hemorrhoids, she recommended that we do colonoscopy even though I wasn't due for one more year...turns out Dr.Maxson found 2 polyps and remove them and had them biopsied, everything turned out benign:-) if she didn't recommend a sooner colonoscopy the outcome would have been not so good, you know! ( That's why its important not to over things, you can detect them quicker and get treatment etc..) Also, my experience at the Jupiter hospital was fantastic, from the minute motor aid picked me up, dropped me home safely...all the staff was warm & kind, even covered me with a fresh warm blanket. Dr.Maxson comes after you wake up, tells you how things went in the procedure and a course of action! Most importantly I trust dr. Maxson and his staff and I highly recommend the GI department at Jupiter medical.

His staff diagnosed my grandmother with a stomach ache after her vist she went to the ER where they told her she has cancer. They care more about getting to their vacations than your well being. Script doctors at best
