Dr. Daniel Dragomir Vukas, MD

Dr. Vukas helped me where another ENT had let me down. ~7 years ago, I saw a different ENT out of Swedish, because I had issues with snoring. That guy took one look at my nose (didn't scope it, didn't take pictures, etc.) , said nothing was wrong, and said I should get a sleep study (clearly didn't want to be bothered, and I'm not a big enough guy yet to start there). Dr. Vukas took the time, scoped my nose, and noted not only did I have a deviated septum I also could only breathe about 15-20% through my right nostril. Before a sleep study, I chose to have a surgery with Dr. Vukas - who has instrumentally made my life better. I can BREATHE again. And it has helped tremendously at night as well. THANK YOU Dr. Vukas and your team! I cannot say enough good things about this Doctor. He is direct, to the point, and an excellent surgeon and Doctor. I would recommend him to my friends and family.

I can not give this doctor any stars. I have to start by saying that in all my years of visiting doctors going to hospitals, I have never experienced this kind of a situation. I took my older sister who is 78 years old to see this doctor, and we were late maybe 15 minutes. After he sees her, he came into the office and complained about us being late. He blamed us for him and his stuff missing lunch. I have seen patients be late but l never seen a doctor be upset and complain about it. I think the way my sister was treated because she was late was completely unprofessional. This doctor has no patience and no understanding. Being a doctor means having compassion, kindness, and care for your patients. This man who calls himself a doctor has none of the professional qualities that are necessary for the field of medicine.

If I could give ZERO stars to this unsympathetic doctor, I would. Dr. Daniel Vukas was completely insensitive, sarcastic and condescending to my widowed-elderly mother of 78 years old and my elderly aunt who was kind enough to take her. She arrived only 15 min. late to her appt. and she apologized to staff and Dr.Vukas multiple times. (Mind you...she has trouble walking fast and does not drive) When she entered the office, she was told BY THE DOCTOR that his staff was now delayed in taking their lunch hour (as well as his) and that everything else on his schedule was pushed behind because she was slightly late. After an initial ear examination and diagnostic ear test, my mother mentioned she had trouble breathing through her nose and that she also had trouble swallowing. Dr. Vukas then sat down and said condescendingly to the effect "Oh, so now we also have a problem with your nose...what else?" EXCUSE ME! Isn't this doctor's title an ENT? (Ear NOSE--AND--THROAT) In all my years of… fine hospital and medical care for my late father and my mother I have never been more irate with the treatment of the elderly and a loved one. I will be filing a grievance through the hospital medical board and in my opinion advise anyone to think twice when seeing this insensitive doctor who obviously has zero-patience, zero-understanding and zero-tolerance of someone elderly who is trying to make an appt. and who only wants to feel healthy, stable, whole and better again while seeking expert advise and a trusting kind heart which Dr. Vukas obviously lacks.

Dr. Vukas is a very caring and knowledgable ENT.

DR Vukas is the excellent specialist. We went to see Him because my husband lost hearing in left ear. After we did MRI test Dr Vukas call to us with excellent explanation and advice what to do next, offering other consultation with specialist at Loyola University. Thank you Dr Vukas for you kindness .

I went to Dr. Vukas with a couple of issues 2 years ago he has accurately diagnosed and has been treating me ever since. I would never go to another ENT he is the best, you are not just a number with him you are a person which is hard to find these days. I would recommend him to anyone who needs his kind of medical expertise.

A very good doctor. Made me feel better after getting to know my case. Cares about everyone. Thinks about positives and right away talks about negatives to let you know what position you are in.
