Dr. Edelman has been my go to surgeon since 2016. He is one of the most knowledgeable surgeons I have met. He has the best bedside manner, and takes his time to explain difficult concepts with clarity and ease. The outcome of two surgeries he performed on me was perfect with excellent long-term outcomes.

Dr. Edelman just performed a robotic hernia repair on me less than 12 hours ago. He fixed a relapsed hernia that was operated on 4 years ago. My recovery was flawless. I am controlling my pain with only Advil—a testament to Dr. Edelman’s meticulous and careful surgical skills and talents. His bedside manners and taking the time to patiently answer questions and address my concerns earned him my respect. This is a real doctor empowered by amazing surgical skills.

I would like to describe my experience with Dr. Edelman from the perspective of a patient as well as that of a retired former physician. Without divulging too much about my condition, I am seeing Dr. Edelman for a complex groin muscle injury in the setting of prior hernia surgeries many years ago. While this type of injury appears to be outside the realm of many general hernia surgeons, Dr. Edelman, who was actually published scholarly articles and lectured on this subject, is well equipped to handle it. During my visit he patiently listen to my symptoms, then ask pointed questions and performed a very thorough examination. He was very insightful about my problem. He explained in great detail what was causing my symptoms and his proposed surgical approach. He was kind, compassionate and very patient. His entire staff was the same way, I assume following his lead. Anyone who sees Dr. Edelman will be seeing highly skilled professional who will treat you in a warm and kind manner.

I was stunned with his honesty, the exactitude of his prognosis and his gentleness. I will recommend him 100 per cent. He listens to his patient and give his opinion which happens to be right. Will see him again if any change occurs in my situation!

I went to Dr. Edelman to repair a hernia that had come back a year after having it repaired by another doctor. Dr. Edelman used the laparascopic method. The recovery time was incredibly fast and pain free, no scars at all. Dr. Edelman was very attentive in answering all my questions and after surgery, he went to the waiting room to reassure my family that I was alright.

I was referred to Dr. Edelman by another doctor, in whom I have total confidence, for laparoscopic repair of a bilateral hernia. Dr. Edelman more than met my hopes and expectations - he did an excellent job robotically repairing my hernia, I had no pain or discomfort, a very quick recovery; and, after about 6 months, there were little or no visible traces of the 2 small incisions. Besides being highly skilled, Dr. Edelman is very caring and attentive to the patient. I was very fortunate to have had him as my surgeon, and I could not have been happier with the overall experience and the staff at Doctors Hospital.

He is money hungry and only cares about getting you into surgery. When he found out the my condition impoved with medication and not surgery, he told me to find another doctor. I thought doctors where here to help put he's clearly not.

Doctor Edelman is a skilled surgeon with great people skills and an amazing attitude. He answered all my questions and immediately put me at ease. He never make me feel rushed. His staff is equally friendly, professional and helpful. The assembly line attitude you might find at some medical practices is something you won’t find in his office. How refreshing! Less than 24 hours after a laparoscopic robotic bilateral inguinal hernia surgery at Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables, I am up and about. All things considered, I feel great. If there’s any pain, it’s really minor, far less than I ever expected. I’m not taking any drugs and I feel like I’m on a quick road to recovery. My thanks to Doctor Edelman and the amazing team at Doctors Hospital. Did I mention that the first call I had this morning was from Doctor Edelman. He checked to see how I was doing. What a class act!
