Dr, Striplin was EXTREMELY knowledgeable & explained everything to me in laymen terms. He was EXTREMELY thoughtful & truly a caring doctor! He told me everything I ever wanted to know about my shoulder & his EXPERT opinion on my shoulder, in just a few minutes! Very nice, friendly & compassionate! I would DEFINITELY refer him!

This doctor seems to be in a hurry, reckless with his diagnosis, as he is reckless with his plane flying over the city of Torrance. Needs to get his priorities straight.

Dr.Striplin has performed surgeries on both my shoulders. The results speak for themselves. He's a miracle worker. When I am sitting in his waiting rooms, the waiting goes with the territory, I know I am getting the best treatment available. As far as I am concerned, he's a top skilled professional and should I ever need further surgery, he'll be my first choice. I first met with Dr. Striplin in 2003 and again in 2014. He has enabled me to continue flying, scuba diving, motorcycling, and skydiving. I have been retired 10 years now, am 67. My shoulders still function as if I were still young, without pain. The treatment of my 17-year old son's snowboarding accident was fast and extremely understanding. The doctor offered a logical alternative to my son's original "DON'T GET IT WET!!" cast from the hospital at Lake Tahoe that gave him (my son) unlimited flexibility, convenience in showering, and an ear-to-ear smile by the time we left.

Dr. Striplin is a very busy doc. Waiting room was full and had to wait awhile to see him. He explained my diagnosis very clearly and spent a lot of time making sure all my questions were answered. Very respectful and knows what he's talking about. Overall had a positive experience and would recommend to others. Read comment below about him staring at boobs: totally absurd!! Get a life lady!! He is very professional. Have known him for many years.

He stared at my chest constantly (and I'm not a buxom woman by any means). I came in w/a stress fracture. He offered no treatment. No brace, no cast, nothing. I didn't know any better, so I didnt ask. Later, I found out fellow runners recovered from their stress fractures in about 3 months w/a leg brace. It's been 18 months since my diagnosis and it still hasnt healed. I'm going to see a REAL doctor this week to get this taken care of. Definitely NOT happy with Dr. Striplin.

I was and am in pain from a couple of months back. I consulted this osteo guy on afvice fom my husband's podiatrist who I told my knees hurt, feet & ankles swollen (edematous). Doc rushed me over to Torrance Mem. for an "emergency MRI," then I set an appt. for a week later to discuss the results. I missed the appt. due to H'days and take care of a disab'd guy 24/7 (husband, so no day off). Every other doc I have ever seen has called to remind me the day before an appt., but this office is too busy to be bothered. Even our ophthalmologists who I think are more highly skilled than 'Bones' over there, have someone in the office give a kindly reminder. Nothing kindly about Ms. Seig Heil on the phone at Striplin's joint, just bossy Ms. Bossy, "Write it down!," she says, like I didn't write it down the first time. I just got too busy, like some other people I know who don't even have time to make a 30 sec. - 1 min. phone call.

I found the office to be fairly typical with courteous staff, and a reasonably typical wait beyond my appointment time for a doctor's office. I was very impressed with Dr. Striplin's manner and professionalism in explaining the injury to my shoulder, the surgical repair needed, and the follow-up care requirements. I felt that Dr. Striplin took as much time as I required to discuss and understand the diagnosis and procedure. My surgery was quick and very successful from my perspective. I am currently waiting for the repair to heal before starting physical therapy. Great doctor and surgeon from my perspective.
