Dr. Cameron Johnson Sears, MD

Dr. Cameron Sears is the doctor you fear your children will have. He has long lost the desire to heal, comfort, or treat. After watching my small son in agony during a casting procedure, I confronted Dr. Sears about his failure to protect my son. He told me his apology would only sound shallow and that the good news was my son's arm was casted. I have never seen or heard such arrogance, selfishness, or flat-out uncaring towards any patient, let alone a small child in pain. No matter the hospital that recommends this man, run! As a traumatized mother, I warn you to take your children elsewhere.

Dr. Sears is incredible. He took care and treated my son's broken arm. He is absolutely wonderful with small kids. I would highly recommend him to other people.

I saw the children’s hospital commercial featuring Dr Sears. I wish Dr Sears was the Dr he potrays himself to be. My daughter has lived in pain, been dismissed and completely affected by his lack of concern for her well-fare to the point it interferes with her quality of life and has for years Her issues started when she was young, he never cared about her, and we have been held hostage the groups policy of not allowing you to switch Drs within the group yet they are the only ones that wil see children. Honestly someone should sue over this policy. Of course when you have a child with chronic issues you don’t have the strength to fight other battles. We would wait so long to see him only to feel insulted and certainly not cared for. She has desperately needed his care to help with pain but we told her pediatrician who wanted to help her we just could not spend more energy seeing this man last year. We needed him. He failed her. She did not ha e to suffer I have watched my… daughter suffer needlessly for a decade and he missed a very serious genetic diagnosis. All the signs were there had he bothered to actually look at her, think about her medical history and listen to us. My daughter suffers because of you sir. If you read these reviews, stop treating children this way. Years of watching her suffer. You are suppose to care. You are her dr. The only one we are allowed to see because of your groups policy. I am thankful now that she iturns 18 she can see another doctor at another facility. So broken hearted. Perhaps if people were allowed to switch drs within the group, or there was another pediatric group the competition would force you to be better. Family forever affec

My teenage daughter and I were both shocked by his rudeness and arrogance. My daughter plans to pursue a medical degree and had researched her symptoms online using reputable sites. When she asked if she might have found the right diagnosis, he immediately and rudely informed her that it was his job to diagnose, not ours. He then insisted that what she was experiencing was "impossible" and stated that all dancers are "dramatic," telling her that she was using crutches "for effect." We were flabbergasted. That kind of ego is dangerous, especially in a doctor. In the end, he misdiagnosed her and we found treatment for her cuboid syndrome elsewhere.

Although he was a good surgeon, I found him to be extremely arrogant and rude.

Friendly guy but seemed in a rush to get done quickly. I feel for those folks who do not have a medical or surgical background and really need to ask more questions. My child liked him, but was the first to say that he acted like he was in a hurry and she did not think he believed her about her orthopedic issues.

I didn't feel that my questions and concerns even mattered to him. He acted like he couldn't get out of the exam room fast enough. He neglected to address the issues that I indicated were problems on the incoming paperwork. We felt our child's problem/diagnosis wasn't addressed sufficiently and the recommendations for treatment were minimal at best. We are seeking a second opinion and hope to be taken more seriously about the issues significantly effecting our child.

Dr. Sears is a great doctor with a really great bedside manner.

I am overall pleased with the care my child received. Dr. Sears was very friendly, and was able to pinpoint the problem right away, I would recommend other parents to take their kids to him.
