Carlos Alemany, MD - Reviews

Dr Carlos Alemany, a hematologist, oncologist specializing in Breast Cancer and research has been my physician since Dr Lukman retired. Both are excellent. I’ve been going to his office for a couple of years. He’s an excellent physician, very knowledgeable, amicable and explains to patient and family in a compassionate, and easy way to understand. He first started monitoring my anticoagulant, Coumadin, checking my levels of INR, making sure my blood was not too thick or thin, preventing a clot or a hemorrhage. I had a pulmonary embolism in 2003 and have Factor II, V, and homozygous MTFHR gene mutations that predispose me to blood clots. He is the best hematologist. Now I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and he’s the best oncologist, knowledgeable, and compassionate. His office staff is very pleasant and helpful. Vanessa Sepulveda, his nurse coordinator and Samantha, his nurse navigator are knowledgeable, compassionate, helpful. Both are excellent. Janet Montero is very helpful and pleasant. Also the man that answers the phone and the nurse that takes care of faxes, FMLA, etc are very helpful and amicable. Sorry I forgot their names. Dr. Alemany Is also very thorough and cares about your whole health, all your medical conditions. Dr. Alemany is the best! Thank you Dr. Alemany and staff.

Dr Alemany is very patience, and informative great personality quite humble. Love the experience with him. He reassured me throughout my whole experience with my surgery.
