Dr. Danny Ray Bartel, MD

Well, Dr Bartel treated both my husband and me. We are not fond of the 3hr wait and rude staff. He failed our treatments but I have to say he did a genetic test no other neurologist thought to do, correctly diagnosing my husband with narcolepsy, without cataplexy. The absence of cataplexy relieves the concern he might suddenly just fall asleep while driving.

Dr. Bartel has given so much hope when it comes to keeping my Ms under control. He listens to me and helps me to find the best way to to treat the Ms. Thank you Dr. Bartel.

My husband turned to Dr Bartel for severe chronic pain treatment (about 8 yrs ago).His experience was a disaster. When my husband was dragging his feet to have yet another MRI on his back done by a new associate in BARTEL’s clinic with HIS equipment, Bartel had the audacity to tell him if he didn’t do it, he would punish him. My husband already had two MRIs done by two unassociated and respected neurosurgeons done two years apart in his chart. Their assessment was that his medical issues could not be addressed by surgery, physical therapy was out of the question and pain management was his only option. He inevitably did have the MRI, but his insurance would not cover it if it was done in Bartel’s clinic. Dr Bartel would enter the treatment room and after an apportioned five minutes would leave. Questions were not well received. This is after having to wait at least an hour to be called in. When pizza arrived for those in the waiting room, the standing joke among patients was that… they would be waiting for yet another hour.

Performed expensive and unneccasary infusions on me which led to heart failure. The man should be castrated and I would love to watch him bleed out

Since he quit painmanagement he left a lot of people in pain and sick. When you call you can only get a recording and leave message that will never be called back. They get in no hurry to send records to another DR. why I don't know. Thank you Dr. Bartel and staff for putting my wife through all the sickness and pain.

Wait time is horrible! He is “nice” but kept ordering tests that were not necessary! Finally switched and so happy with my new neurologist!

Egocentric. Unreasonable idea about diagnosis and limitations.

Dr Bartel is one of the best Dr. In the Wichita Falls.

Dr. Bartel is truly a blessing and my quality of life wouldn't be the same without his expertise and knowledgement . I suffer from several chronic diseases that cause secondary issues with my neurological system. Dr. B as I call him works closely with my other physicians to ensure I receive the treatment and BEST care possible. I can't Thank Dr. B enough for all that he's done for me!

I feel very confident with Dr Bartel and his knowledge about my diagnosis. He is honest and kind. Feels like family. I’ve had a great experience with all of his staff and Dr. Bartel as well! I trust him completely! Excellent bed side manners! I love Dr. Bartel!
