Dr. John Tenny, MD

After having my L rotator cuff repaired by another Dr, I had Dr Tenny repair my R rotator cuff. The 1st surgery hurt EVERY SINGLE DAY for a year. Dr Tenny's repair was fully functional and nearly pain free after less than 2 weeks. That was 5+ years ago. I recommend Dr Tenny to everyone I can. He and his staff are outstanding. I had pleasure of being Dr. Tenney patient 4 times, 2 for hip replacement and carpal tunnel on both wrist. He is the best in my opinion and yes he does take you step by step what will be done, healing process, length of surgery, talk to you lengty what will be done and best procedure for me. I recommend him to everybody that need help

Dr Tenny is a very caring physician. He is up to date with the newest technology.

Dr. Tenny not only accurately diagnosed my knee problems and corrected those issues to get me back on my feet after a short recovery time. There's nothing I can say except that he's the best, why go to anyone else?

Dr Tenny actually spent the time listening to my issues and explained them to me in detail. His staff were really helpful and tried to do all they could to explain my insurance policy because I really did not understand it. I would definitely would recommend him to my family and friends. He stays up to date with the newest technology which is great!

He takes the time to explain to your understanding exactly what is going on and his recomendation of treatment. On the day of my surgery he was early, which means a lot to me. Both before and after surgery he took the time to explain to me exactly what to expect before and after surgery. His staff is great also, I had my follow up appointment scheduled before I had my surgery. They did everything to help this experience be as comfortable for me as possible. KUDOS to Dr. Tenney and his staff!!!!!

Having had my left rotator cuff surgery before, I waited years to have surgery on my right rotator cuff. I had just under 2 years of pain daily after the first surgery. Thank heaven I found Dr. Tenny for the 2nd surgery. Recovery pain was almost zero after only 2 weeks! Also, since I was losing my insurance, his office managed to schedule surgery within a week, on the final day I had coverage. Long story, but this man and his staff were truly wonderful to me.

I had a shoulder problem that three other orthopedic surgeons could not help me with. Dr Tenny spent time with me and explained my problem. I had surgery and my shoulder has been pain free for years.

He did surgery and was confident he knew what he was doing to fix my AC separation in my shoulder. Put Kevlar in shoulder to pull collar bone back down into place. Drilled holes in my shoulder, cut off end of collar bone, 2 wks later the Kevlar broke and I also had MRSA. He was a quack overall and even told my husband and I that I was fatal and untreatable. In other words he told us I was dying over the phone. I had a pic line in my arm for 12 wks. I wouldn't reccomend this dr to anyone.. He's too old to be doing surgeries..
