Dr. Nazih Afif Moufarrij, MD

This Dr. and ALL of his staff is amazing. He explains all that is about to happen, has excellent bedside manner and follow through. I have had carpal tunnel in both hands and a fractured L5 vertebra. My wife has had a bulging L5 vertebra. What he told us was going to happen and how we would feel after each procedure was 100% accurate. He is 1000% concerned with you and your recovery. You can't go wrong with Dr. Moufarrij and the staff he has surrounded himself with. They all share the same compassion and resolve.

I highly recommend Dr. Moufarrij. His compassion, bedside manner, results of the procedures we have had done were exactly what he said they would be to include recovery. He takes his time with you making sure you understand the upcoming procedures and he makes sure you are doing as expected afterwards. He and his staff are exceptional! Every one of them! He has operated on my hands for carpal tunnel, my wife's back for a bulging disk and my low back for a fractured L5 vertebra. As mentioned before, he and his staff are second to none.

I have been a patient of Dr. Moufarrij since 2013 and over the past 7 years he has been nothing but a top-notch physician and person. I have struggle with spine issues and he has always looked for ways for me to feel better WITHOUT surgery being the go-to. There have been two times where surgery really was the only option and Dr. Moufarrij did amazing work with my spine. He is so very compassionate, listens to the patient as a person and not a potential surgery case and takes the time to answers any and all questions. I recently had a third surgery six years after my last one and nothing about his care has changed, except that it may be even better. I am beyond thankful to be under his care and dread the day he retired.

My heart is filled with joy. Dr. N. Moufarrij is a Medical Doctor that is extremely passionate about his work. He gave me extra time to speak to him regarding my husband’s surgery. That is normal if you have questions but I saw a compassionate heart that explained what I needed to know without making me feel stupid for asking. There is nothing that makes a person feel more helpless than when one of their family members or close friends is experiencing serious medical issues, therefore we must learn to humble ourselves and come to God and ask for His intervention and pray that He blesses all the medical staff and that He gives them the wisdom, experience, and skill necessary for the patient’s recovery. Sometimes these life and death experiences can draw us closer to God and that’s just what we needed. Dr. Moufarrij is kind, informative, and has a light around him that glows. He has overjoyed my heart with his care and delivery of messages. I am so thankful for giving my husband and… I a second chance to make our lives better together. I suffered greatly this summer from a cyst on my spinal cord. He was able to fit me in when other Dr.s would not. He and his wonderful assistant answered all my questions, were caring and showed great empathy towards me. I would not hesitate recommending him most strongly to anyone who had neurological issues! 2 surgeries, excellent pre-post care, no complications. Dr. Moufarrij listens, takes time to explain options, doesn't promote surgeries lightly. I had a third surgery performed by another doctor (closer to my home) - very sorry l didn't choose Dr. Moufarrij again! Certainly will next time!

Was probably one of the worst Dr. visits I have had in my life. After waiting 1 1/2 hours he walked in like he didn't have a clue why I was there, and just keep looking at his PA. I'm almost positive he new looks at my MRI because he hadn't been in the office long enough to do so. Plus to top that off me answers his cell phone right in the middle of my visit, I was furious. Well never recommend anyone to visit this Dr.

I was thrown off by his attitude on my initial visit so I forgot to ask all my questions. Am going to call the PA and see if she can answer them and then make an appointment for surgery. I agree with some of the other reviews, his bed side manner stinks but as long as he is a good surgeon I can live with that.

The Dr. made me feel insignificant. didn't listen or believe me and I left in disbelief, confusion and most of all, alot of pain! But i will go back after 6mos to see why my hand is still broken ( in definition; does NOT work ) after a minor carpal tunnel surgery!!!
