Dr. Peter Winston Debry, MD

I believe Peter DeBry should lose his license. Jan. 13, 2021 he performed cataract surgery on my right eye. At a surgery center, I felt like I was on an assembly line conveyor belt that moved every 15 minutes. Wheeled into operating room, I was securely strapped to a gurney, couldn't move my head. Mildly sedated, I conversed with staff. Then DeBry revealed his true self. First, he failed to remove ANY gooey substance from ocular sac. Leaving it in results in cloudy vision with a new lens. Then, he inflicted the most painful experience of my life. Without proper sedation, he pushed a needle directly into my eyeball. I've had kidney stones so I know pain. The pain Peter caused is something I'll NEVER forget, much worse. Next 3 months, he did over 400 laser shots to erase the substance. Laser made a hole in the sac so the substance leaked into eyeball. FOUR YEARS LATER I see floaters. Only cure is more surgery. Now you know why I tell everyone to avoid the ego maniac who brags about his… number of surgeries.

I only saw Dr. DeBry twice-once for the initial evaluation and the second time for an in-office procedure. His associate, who is not an ophthalmologist, saw me the remainder of my visits. When I had a problem and needed to be seen, I could not be seen at the Henderson office for several weeks. There was one opening at the Smoke Ranch office. It was very inconvenient with a lot of traffic. My problem continued for several weeks. When I called to schedule an appointment, I was fourth in line. I left a message asking to be scheduled for an appointment. Five hours later the office had still not called back. I have had problems in the past when I called during office hours and could not reach them because of their shutting down the phone lines due to having a staff meeting. I do not recommend this far too busy office.

Excellent doctor and all his staff are excellent.

We just saw Dr DeBry yesterday. Have been seeing him for 8 years. As busy, as he is, he still takes time, for all his patients. If you have Cataracts or Glaucoma, this is the Doctor to see. His entire staff, including Maria, his chairside assistant, are all superb. Since he opened his own practice, he is developing quite a following and his reputation is spreading fast. We are so happy for him-that he now has his own practice and is doing well. He deserves it!

I have best thoughts , when i am thinking about Dr. Peter Debry: TOP doctor in his profession, polite, patient, understanding, Thank You doctor that You save my vision (and i know that i had a bad complicated situation in both eyes ). I can see perfectly right now. :-) Thanks to all team-workers. You have a great people working with You. My best recommendation to all people who need a correction in their vision.

Dr De Bry not only saved my vision when I came on emergency bases ( out of nowhere) with Acute closed angle glaucoma 5 years ago. Then just recently Dr De Bry performed bilateral Cataract surgery ,painlessly ,restoring my vision to incredibly clear.perfect.I have been using prescription glasses & drug store glasses before the procedure for almost 20 years. Now I don't require any glasses. Dr De Bry is wonderful professional. very classy, gentle. The very best I met in Las Vegas

If you or someone you know needs "the best" glaucoma treatment or corneal transplant or cataract surgery, do yourself a favor and go to Dr DeBry. I've observed him in clinic & in OR & trust me on this, he is the BEST Las Vegas has to offer! Sorry couldn't give 5 stars down the board, but Dr DeBry himself as a surgeon & caring person should receive 10 stars.

I thought Dr. DeBry did a great job. His office staff were very professional and I hardly had to wait before I was back with the doctor. I would feel comfortable referring my friends to see Dr. DeBry

Dr. Debry was thorough in his examination, answered all my questions related to the presenting problem as well as questions regarding possible LASIK surgery in the future He was not at all trying to push me into having LASIK, instead discouraged it at this time. The Technician who worked me up prior to seeing the doctor was equally helpful. Office staff was also very professional and pleasant in scheduling the appointment and in handling paperwork.
