Receptionists are always pleasant and helpful. Wait time is reasonable and the office area is bright and clean. Dr. Brauner was patient and attentive during the visit. She listened to any questions and made sure that I understood what she was saying.

Dr. Brauner has been my ophthalmologist for several years. She has always been a very astute clinician as well as being a warm and caring person. She takes the time to treat the patient as a person, assessing the general medical health as well as the health of the eyes, and explains in detail the course of treatment, what to expect, side effects and testing that may need to be done. I have recommended Dr. Brauner to many others who have reported they were very pleased with her and the care she provided.

I have been seeing Dr. Brauner regularly for 2 years and am extremely happy with the care she has provided me. Since I've seen her at least quarterly, my assessment isn't based on a single interaction but rather a continuum of care. Dr. Brauner takes time to understand my concerns, is very thorough in her evaluation, highly astute and knowledgeable, and has worked with me to find solutions to medical problems that other ophthalmologists were unable to address successfully. She is supported by excellent medical staff who go above-and-beyond to ensure all my needs (paperwork, etc) are met. I am also very impressed by the way she simultaneously manages patient interaction with her obligations to her employer (Mass Eye & Ear). Doctors these days are under tremendous pressure to see a certain number of patients, attend to all their needs, and document it all. While some people may feel neglected when a provider takes the time to type a note during the visit, Dr. Brauner always… re-engaged and gave me her full attention once she was finished typing, addressing any final questions and concerns I had. She does an excellent job balancing efficiency and courtesy. Wait times were considerably shorter compared to other academic ophthalmology practices in Boston. As someone who works in health care, I have high expectations of my personal physicians. Dr. Brauner is among the best physicians I have had and is someone whom I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my closest friends and family.

Dr B took the time to explain all about my lens replacement surgery. she made me feel very at ease, The staff at both the Stoneham and Boston facilities are great and very friendly.

thanks to dr brauner my vision is back. i had very dense cataracts which is my fault for not getting operated on two years ago when i was told i needed an operation. she was very professional in dealing with me. great bedside manor;explained everything that was going to be done;before;during and after the surgey. follow up visits were very informational on how to care for my eyes, from taking eye drops to sleeping with protective shield. would highly recommend dr brauner to anybody who may need this surgery!
