She believes that “caring for patients with dementia means caring for their families and caregivers as well,” a perspective that guides how she approaches patients and their support systems.Elisabeth’s calling to health care began early. “I wanted to be a nurse since the age of 5 and never considered anything else,” she said. That lifelong commitment continues to shape her work and dedication to patients facing complex cognitive conditions.Her focus area is memory disorders, including Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia and vascular dementia. Elisabeth offers management of anti-amyloid therapies for patients with early Alzheimer's disease. Her specialty choice is personal. “Both of my grandparents had dementia,” she said. “In caring for them, I realized how much they could have benefited from specialty care.”
