Dr. Elliott Martin Libling, MD

Hurried. Dr. performed a clerifix procedure on me and it was the most painful thing I’ve endured. Someone else was in the room telling him what to do!!! Excessive bleeding for hours. When I called to report my bleeding, office said dr. had left and to call 911. No call the next day to see if I was okay. Five weeks later, massive nosebleeds requiring 911 calls. Seeing another ENT because I will NEVER step foot in his office again. I believe he pulled out the cryo-unit before it had cooled off and made a huge trauma site from which I’m still recovering. Do NOT trust this doctor or his staff to have your well-being at issue.

Dr..Libling was rushed, took a quick look at my previous visits. Years ago he had helped my vertigo, but now sent me to a young man I believe he was training. The young man only spent 5 minutes with me and said to just keep coming back. Very upset that they didn't take the time to do the job right. I went to a PT specialist ONCE and he spent the time and cured me in one visit.

My husband was the last patient of the day, though we never felt rushed. His staff was very helpful and even cheerful! Dr. Libling listened carefully and performed a thorough examination. He patiently answered all our questions and was very reassuring.

Dr. Libling saw me for pain in my ears and muffled hearing. He also diagnosed my bronchitis. He and his staff were friendly, the appointment went smoothly as Dr. Libling gently removed gobs of gross stuff from my ears caused by me using q-tips. My hearing was restored and it didn’t hurt a bit! Dr. Libling was as gentle as any Dr. I have ever had touch my ears. Thank you Dr. Libling, you are awesome! ??

His staff was great for how awful the doctor was. He heard "strep throat" at the beginning of my appointment and that was all he heard (but I have nad 10 weeks of issues and ct&us show problems). Said it was Inflammed thyroid and endo is now getting me a 2nd opinion with another ENT even though that is NOT her responsibility. She seemed not surprised with my experience w dr libling. A friend saw him also and had a very poor experience w surgery/recovery. He scoped me but waited too long after applying anisthetic and he could barely go in my nose bc it was so painful and I started bleeding everywhere. He gave me meds for acid reflux and sent me on my way, even though joke of my symptoms indicated that, and contradicted himself with the thyroid rec. Seeing another doctor soon who actually wants to see my crush films instead of interpret what the radiologist wrote.

My appointment started off on the wrong foot. Upon arrival, the office was packed with several people that were angrily complaining about how long they had to wait. I patiently waited a total of 1.5 hours. They finally took me back after 1 hr. By that time, I was so riled up, that it was even reflected by my higher than normal blood pressure. (I am a medical student, so I take my blood pressure at home regularly and know what it typically runs.) When I expressed my dissatisfaction for the ridiculously long wait to the staff, they did not show much empathy. It seemed as if they have habituated to the complaints. Also, I think that the office should call patients and warn them prior to the appointment time when the doctor is running 1.5 hr behind, or at least attempt to warn them upon arrival. Once I finally saw the doctor, he seemingly half-hardheartedly apologized for being late and throwing off my schedule for the entire afternoon. He did listen to me explain my symptoms, and… then did a seeming rushed physical exam. He was relatively nice during our conversation. However, following a very unpleasant laryngoscopy, he gave me my treatment plan which I found to be very unhelpful. His only recommendation for my post-nasal drip was Zyrtec, an over the counter allergy pill. I feel that my visit was not only completely unproductive but also very stressful. This is the worst medical visit I have ever experienced. As a result, I felt compelled to write a review. I definitely do not recommend this doctor or Valley ENT in general.

Came to this doctor with a very bad sinus problem. After trying to introduce the scope thru my nose, he decided to perform a CT Scan. He found areas that were badly closed but decided that he will not do surgery and that I should use every day a steroid nasal spray. He was in a hurry and did not let me discussed other alternatives.

GREAT DOCTOR TIME MANGMENT COULDNT BE BETTER. LIBLING REALLY KNOWS HOW TO HANDLE EAR INFECTIONS AND GETS RIGHT TO THE SOURCE . BEEN GOING TO HIM FOR 10 +YEARS NOW, NEVER HAVE A PROBLUM WITH STAFF OR GETTING AN APPOINTMENT. THANK YOU DR. LIBLING FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL AND HARD WORKING YEARS YOU HAVE GIVIN TO THE WEST VALLEY AND MANY MORE TO COME!
