Dr. Emanuele Lomenzo, MD

If you are lucky enough to get this gentleman for your doctor, your prayers have been answered. This is one of the most dedicated human beings that I've ever seen in the medical profession. I am a personal injury trial lawyer for 42 years. I had the misfortune of having a ruptured appendix with peritonitis requiring emergency surgery. By some miracle, I was privileged to have Dr. Lemenzo perform my surgery and save my life. Not only that, but he is the most hard-working dedicated and loyal doctor. I had what is called an ileus following the surgery which took a very long time to resolve. Had nothing to do with this doctor. During the two weeks that I was in the hospital, Dr. Lomenzo must've spent close to 10 hours just speaking to me and my family, spending as much time as needed, going over in intimate detail everything to keep us informed. When I asked him if he would speak my personal gastroenterologist, he agreed to and they come up with a strategy gathered to resolve my problem.… This man literally lworks from like 6 AM until 10 at night who knows how many days per week. He is a credit to the medical profession and is an amazing human being. Thank you to Dr. Lomenzo for being my doctor!

Completely butchered my leg. I didn't know he was a bariatric surgeon at the time that he took my case. Why he didn't send me to oncology and hoarded my case for himself will be my question for life. Didn't follow standards of care and procedures for proper lump removal. Made me wait months while cancer was growing inside of me. His staff was rude and fought me on the phone when I called for help. I'm now terribly disfigured and walk with a limp forever. I suffered severe consequences and all I can do is leave reviews to warn others. Use a different doctor.

Dr. LoMenzo is the most pro active, compassionate, professional Doctor I have ever met. He performed a 7 1/2 hour surgical procedure arhroscopically on me and saved my life 2 years ago I would trust him medically with any member of my family. Dr. LoMenzo truly cares about his patients. We love him.

I had a Nissan/Hiatal hernia surgery done by Dr Lo Menzo. He was always there for me whenever I needed him. He patiently explained everything very well before and after and also to my family whenever necessary. He really took his time to be sure all of my questions were answered! He came in early and stayed late to do necessary procedures! It has been 6 months since my surgery and he is still checking on me. I cannot say enough good things to tell you how pleased I am. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family and would go to him again if I needed another surgery. Thank you Dr Lo Menzo!!

Dr. Lo Menzo is a very competent surgeon. He repaired a left inguinal hernia here and the results were very fine: no complications, no "after affects", no infections afterwards. The repair is holding up very well six weeks post op. However, he was like a sphinx during the evaluation. He explained little/nothing about the upcoming procedure. No details whatsoever. In fact I had to reschedule another visit prior to the procedure just to get more limited amount of information about it from the sphinx -- at another cost to out of pocket payments and my insurance provider. He generally uses medical residents before the evaluation before he participates; after the procedure/post op follow up exclusively a medical resident. He kind of like disappears from the scene. During the pre-op evaluation he took a cellphone call in the middle of my examination. wtf! So, yes, he is a very compentent surgeon, but holy cow, his communication and explanation skills are horrendous.

I meet Dr Emmanuel Lo Menzo as a patient , an outstanding professional . His knowledge, experience, compassation, bedside and the art of his hands make him the perfect selection for the best surgeon to choose at anytime. He has the skill to heal and the patient to listen his patients and answer all his questions . Thank You.

Nice guy, seemed like good doctor. Problem is that the surgery was a failure. The Hialal hernia did not work and the Nissan is loosening up. According to Dr. Lo Menzo, he was successful 97% of time so I must HAVE been in the 3 %. As many of you know, this is a surgery that should not be taken lightly and I will not have anyone else try to fix the problems. The GERD that this was supposed to help has made it worse. Beware, surgery that seems too good to be true probably is not. The side effects from the surgery such as intestinal pain, lots of gas and GERD is also not trivial. Google this surgery before you get to that point and you will may change your mind.
