Dr. Eric Bernard Geller, MD

For years I was diagnosed with a multitude of conditions. The right medications and closely monitored blood tests have made my seizures and pain bearable. I am forever indebted to him, his wonderful staff and St. Barnabas’s neurology department for giving meback my sanity !

I was diagnosed with epilepsy at 16. I went from neurologist to neurologist and none of them could tell me what part of my brain was causing the seizures. I finally switched to Dr. Geller he ran a few tests and told me exactly where it was. Dr. Geller also changed my medicines that were more woman friendly for having kids in the future. During my pregnancy he monitored me closely. My OBGYN wanted me to do a c-section to avoid grand mal seizures even though I told her I wanted vaginal and I had no other complications. I told Dr. Geller the issue and he printed out reports that I handed to my OBGYN and I was able to do vaginal delivery, how I always envisioned my labor to be! I recommend him 100 times over!

The Staff are impossible. His assistant is extremely disagreeable, horrible, highly unpleasant, especially to the senses; physically nauseating

not just a doctor, a caring man

I have Bipolar 2 as well as Gelastic Seizures.When I first became Dr.Geller's patient,I wasn't taking enough anti-Hypomanic meds (honestly, through no fault of my own).I acted like a total,complete jerk,frankly!! See,I was so incredibly frustrated that I had overcome so many problems stretching back over many,many years with Bipolar 2 and then I found myself with yet another extremely major problem,Seizures.And I had no history of Seizures and neither do any family members.Any other Dr.would have told me to take a hike,and I wouldn't have blamed him,but Dr.Geller stayed with me and my Seizures are completely under control.Bravo! I wish more people in the US were like him,especially M.D.'s.

Dr Geller and his team are the A list. I've had epilepsy since I was a child,Im 45 now, and had grand mal seizures regularly all my life. 3 years ago I was introduced to the Institute of Neurology on Neurosurgery and Dr. Geller. The whole team are amazing. They entered me into the hospital to diagnose my condition and determined that I was a good candidate for a temporal lobectomy. Since the surgery I have been seizure free for 3+ years. They gave me back the life I'd been missing due to the seizures. Thanks Dr. geller.

If it weren't for him and neuro-surgeon Dr Werner Doyle, I would still be having seizures and would still be dependent upon others. I am presently married and am a home health aide.
