Dr. Erica Edwards Singelmann, MD

This doctor is trash!!! She now works at the Inova Hospital ER in Fairfax county, and if you’re unlucky enough to get her then make sure you are prepared for a rude, presumptuous and cold person who doesn’t give 2 craps about you, your baby or your condition OR how worries you are feeling. We bickered back and forth because her entry into my room was very negative and cold. She blurted out something totally inappropriate without even looking into my issues at all. I wasn’t feeling her. I won’t get into details about what she said to make me uncomfortable, just know this woman should’ve been a litigation lawyer not a OBGYN. Lol. Such a shame.

I went to see her yesterday first time ever for my very first pregnancy. As I was asking her questions she was very rude and acted like I was suppose to know. In the long run she asked me if my pregnancy was planned. Which I told her it wasnt but I am ready to be a mom in the long run which I didnt say but I did I am. My significant other and I are very excited! I got my first ultrasound and transvaginal yesterday. She CALLED me and shared that I am 6 and a half weeks and there is no heart beat which is devastating for me let alone anyone. To anyone you call to share for them to come back in she wasnt professional about this at all! She wasn't considerte at all.. as I was sobbing my mom talked to her and she automatically was like since it wasn't planned then the best thing to do is basically do an abortion after this next appointment next week which is too early this time round. She wasn't understanding or caring at all! Do not go to her. My friend didnt get a heart beat from her… first until she was 12 weeks. Not worth my time with her or effort! Going to go somewhere else and praying it was just too early.

I thought it was just me and my sensitivity that read her this way but I see she generally has a poor bedside manner. When I have a problem and ask her questions, she seems surprised and dumbfounded that I don't know what my symptoms mean. If I guess a condition, she almost sneers at me as if it's common knowledge. I almost want to ask her if she realizes I'm not an ob gyn and therefore, don't really know and that's why I come for her help! I really want to switch providers but I see that has been done for me. Yay!

I saw Dr. Erica Singelmann in 2017 for three different visits while my doctor is away or his schedule is busy. I can say that she is in wrong profession. She is very arrogant, she does not have any compassion for her patients. she always come to the room with the summary of my visit, how come you are writing visit summary before you see and evaluating your patients? The first time I met her she did not treat me with dignity and respect, I thought may be she had a busy day. I gave her another chance she is still the same. The employers should evaluate her carefully and make a decision. She is not a good doctor at all.

Very dismissive and arrogant. Does not take time to answer patients questions. This was my first visit with no exam and she dismissed all my concerns and had the nerve to be arrogant about it. Worst experience ever. Do not go to her she does not have compassion nor does she care what you are going through or your concerns.

It's quite stunning that someone could be this substandard and arrogant at the same time.

Dr. Singelmannâ??s inadequacies cannot be explained as merely a lack of professionalism or poor bedside manners. She lacks the initiative and inquisitive nature that is necessary to provide quality healthcare. Moreover, she lacks the empathy and compassion for women and unborn children that is necessary to perform the job of an OBGYN.

Very friendly and she remembered me after two years! I love this doctor!
