Dr. Ernest Edward Nitka, MD

He doesn't listen to the patients needs. He doesn't use the communication system he wants you to use. I guess it if for the patient to use not him to respond.. Believes he is doing you a favor by having him as a Dr. When I challenged my treatment and wanted to discuss it he called with a chip on his shoulder...he wanted to prove he was right, not discuss how to fix what was wrong..Cursed at me and hung up. By then I wasn't much better. I know no more about my condition than when I wallked in. I brought 4 mri's and 2 other test results the first visit. I went in to find out about 2 small strokes I was told I have had. He told me he wsn't sure that I had one. I no less than I did before I saw him....but as he said he read my GD MRI"s,,,like it was a favor. Does he forget he works...worked for me. I was taught to respect a DR.s opinion but not follow it blindly...he would first have to express an opinion for me to follow. I would highly recommend you keep looking...Awful… is a compliment.

This person, I question the validity of the title, should be banned from interacting with people. He is only able to answer to obvious issues but has no clue or desire if the issue goes past that. A piece of wood would have a better rapport than this person. He didn't have the courtesy to even introduce himself. Honestly this guy is kinda creepy. Never saw another patient in the office and I also found it odd that I could get an appointment so quickly. I thought that I just got lucky. I came to find out that was not the case. The only people that would see this person would have no self esteem and enjoy being berated by someone that obviously thinks they are better than you. Condescending and unable to answer the questions I came in for. Told me to see someone else if I wanted to get answers to my qustions.

Horrible with people. Calls other professionals in his words "stupid and don't know what there talking about." would highly discourage anyone else to be treated like he treated my 72 year old father. Shame on him.

I did not like Dr. Nitka at all. I was originally referred to his co-worker, but due to the wait to get in they scheduled me with Dr. Nitka. When I described why I was refereed to him by my PCP he said that I didn't have what they told me because I didn't have the classical symptoms. He thought that by removing the medication I was on I would fix myself. Then he proceeded to spend the rest of the appointment time discussing himself and hobbies. When I had the follow up appointment, he didn't remember me at all. He repeated the same information about him and his hobbies and didn't talk to me hardly at all about my situation. I left feeling annoyed and belittled. Needless to say I didn't go back. It was also hard to schedule an appointment with him. It seemed like his assistant was never there and no one helped out. The front office staff also had limited things they could assist with. Every time I called the front staff to reach his assistant they would cut me off and just transfer me… to the assistant (who was never there). The front staff also broke for a long lunch everyday which made it difficult to get a hold of them. I would not recommend him or that particular location. I wouldn't give him any stars if it wasn't required.

Avoid Dr. Nitka at all costs. Altho you will read a couple of positive reviews, the majority are not positive in any way. The items that I gave more than one star, had to do with his office, not him. I wish there was a choice of no stars in this lineup of questions. The last four ratings would have had the option of "0" stars. Altho on time(he should have been - first appt.) and there is a moderately caring staff, this man is without a doubt the meanest Dr. I have had the displeasure of seeing. I totally agree with the person who said he should be in a lab and not seeing patients. My thoughts exactly before I read the comments. This Dr. is judgmental without any information, makes diagnoses without any empircal data, spent the entire visit putting me down, and generally behaved like a toddler on the verge of a tantrum He told me to make an appointment in one month. A staff member came back and told me they couldn't find a spot for me, and they'd call me when they could get… a better idea of the Dr.'s schedule. She acted very embarrassed, and I soon knew why. The Dr. had no intention of seeing me again. Nobody in the practice ever got in touch with me. Just as well, because I try very hard to avoid negative relationships on a personal and professional level. This Dr. would have always been a negative experience. Please ignore the couple of positive comments, because they will have been the exception, not the rule. Life is too short to put up with people like Dr. Nitka. Remember YOU are paying him for a service, not the other way around. You wouldn't put up with rude service from any other profession, would you? Dr's. are no exception, just because they have a lot of schooling. So do I, and I would never dream of talking to a client or patron the way he talked to me. Avoid Dr. Nitka!!!

This Doctor Nitka...is not professional and very hateful and is very rude. I recommend going to someone eles!! He does not care about helping people. If I knew what was going on with me then I would not have found myself in his office and I would have saved myself a lot of money. RUTHLESS JERK!!!

Very good experience all the way around. He was very personable and spent a good amount of time with me going over my MRI even though it was negative.

No introductions... insulted my husband and my PCP as soon as we walked into his office. He hadn't asked me many questions about my overall functionality (pain, cognition, etc.)... only physical movement. His report reflected (in very poor English) his presumptions before I even walked into the door.Extremely poor people skills.. spent about 5 minutes with me them passed me off to someone he never introduced, to set up a follow up appt. I left there in a daze... and made an appt with another neurologist who took the time to get the whole picture.Don't waste your time. This guy should be working in a lab... not with people!

I have seen Dr. Nitka twice. He did not wear a white jacket and his office was ran with efficiency, not waste. He knows what he is doing, and explained his process, deductions, and where he was being professionally subjective. My only issue is that I can't find his phone number on the internet.

He has just about the worst bedside manner of any health professional that I have come in contact with. If you are looking for a doctor who will treat you with respect, takes steps with you to diagnose the problem and seems genuinely concerned with helping you get better, don't go to Dr. Nitka.
