Dr. Eugenia M G Gray, MD

Detached and spent five minutes only. She performed the same procedure as my general practitioner. What is the point of going to a specialist? Deeply disconcerting

I had a family member who Dr. Gray treated very badly. 2 years ago, my family member was diagnosed with throat cancer and prescribed both chemo and radiation. Upon reading her notes, she first stated the tumor was found on the left side of my family member’s throat, but they radiated the right side. 6 months after my family member was done with their treatment, they started having symptoms again, so they went back to Dr. Gray. She was dismissive AT BEST. She told my family member that cancer cannot return that quickly and his severe throat pain was nothing more than a simple sore throat. They went back to her a few more times but again was dismissed by saying it was just a simple sore throat. My family member finally was able to have a biopsy and scans done, but the results were never given to them in a timely manner. My family member had to go to their primary doctor for something unrelated, and mentioned to the primary that the biopsy and results from the scans were never… given to them, so the primary pulled them up because they’re in the same health system. The primary came into the room with a face white as a ghost and told my family member that the tumor was enormous and recommended they get a second opinion, as it appeared to the primary that nothing else could be done. My family saw Dr. Gray very shortly after that to find out what was going on, why she didn’t deliver the results to them. Dr. Gray told my family member that the primary was wrong, his cancer was very early stage and curable with a simple surgery. My family member lost trust in Dr. Gray and got a second opinion at Johns Hopkins only 2 weeks later. At Johns Hopkins the results were TERMINAL. It was NOT EARLY STAGE LIKE DR. GRAY SAID IT WAS. Her negligence and dismissive attitude cost my family member their life.

My mother was referred to Dr Gray buy her PCP. Dr Gray came into the room and asked why my mother why she she was there. My mom explained why. Dr Gray didn't want to see any of the paper work that my mother had with her (test results, etc.) Then the Doctor was like you look fine nothing's wrong with you. Then that was it. Very rude!! Dr Gray came off that she was being bothered.

Couldn't ask for a more caring and knowledgeable doctor for cochlear implant operation.
