Dr. Klein is so nice. He is very easy to talk to and very helpful.

My wife had a phone interview with Dr. Klein to make sure she had reasonable expectations for surgery with Dr. Bolognese; IE it wont cure the underlying conditions, might not be 100% successful, etc. During the call he was somewhat dismissive of her symptoms going so far as to say that several of her neurological symptoms couldn't be from her neck problems, despite the screening from Dr. Bolognese specifically asking about those symptoms. He knew she has confusion issues and was a low level anxiety that is enhanced with her confusion. After the phone call she was borderline hyperventilating about how the surgery wont work and even if it does than the rehab wont be effective and her quality of life will never improve. I'm not sure how he is in person and I understand that that interview was mostly a CYA attempt by all parties involved but you shouldn't be causing undue stress to a patient pre-surgery since successful outcomes are tied directly to patient confidence and state-of-mind.
