Dr. George Mariano Sandoz, MD

Most incompetent doctor Ive ever come across and Ive seen hundreds upon hundreds of doctors in my life! Also, worst bedside manner Ive ever encountered!!! Please save yourself from this "doctor" I waited 6 months for my appointment, suffering horribly the whole time. When I finally got to my appointment it lasted a total of 5 minutes. I began to describe my pain and before I could finish the first sentence he said, that doesn't sound like a migraine. Then he suggested that I have PTSD from the car accident. I didnt have a car accident! I have chronic migraine which was diagnosed at the Mayo Clinic. He didn't have my medical records open and even after I corrected him, he didn't open them. He did start talking in general about migraines, when I stopped him to inform him that my case was more complicated then the typical migraine and to ask if he could look at my records, he dismissed me with a wave of his hand, once again, without even a glance at my medical records. Then he said… I clearly had brain fog. At that point, he got up and walked out of the room while he was still talking to me. I tried to hop up and follow after him down the hallway but I'm disabled and couldn't keep up with his pace, so he shouted the last sentence or two down the hallway at me as he disappeared around the corner. I will NEVER go back to that office not even to see a colleague of Sandoz because I don't want to accidentally have him as my doctor when his colleague is on vacation.

I saw Dr. Sandoz for a nerve conduction study of my left leg and foot. He and his staff were highly professional and I would recommend CMC Neurology Center for anyone needing this type service.

Been seeing Dr Sandoz for 20 years after spinal cord injury in 2000 that left me a quad. Have partially recovered since and now see him for follow up appointments 1 per year. Unfortunately his location has changed and is now 23 miles from my home in Longs. But have very pleased with attention he provides.

Attended with my autistic and developmentally delayed adult son. The first visit maybe lasted 10 minutes and maybe 6-10 questions for a complicated history on a 34 year old. Then he ordered an MRI and EEG. We were told a second appointment would be scheduled when tests were completed. Did not hear anything and finally scheduled follow up as no results could be released without this. This time he proceeded to give overview of test results (consisting of rapidly delivered complicated medical terminology and viewing of the MRI) to my son, with his back to me. I asked several pertinent questions and he seemed irritated by my presence, more so by my questions. He suggested several meds to try, none of which made sense to my son, who initially said no when Dr Sandoz asked if he’d like to try one. I said yes, we were starting a different med and would like to try one at this time. No discussion. After maybe 15 minutes total time he abruptly stood and said goodbye. I asked about the med and he… indicated my son didn’t want to try anything and said to call if he changed his mind. Goodbye. My son was quite upset afterwards by his lack of concern or care. As was I.

While seeing Dr. Sandoz relating to a seizure, Dr. Sandoz and his reception staff were wonderful ... but I would never return to his office for care again because of his rude and inefficient nurse. I needed a follow up MRI, and the Dr. told me to contact his nurse to set it up before my next appt. which was scheduled a month or more in the future. I called and never got a return call from her and continually got her voice message. I had to have my family Dr. set up my MRI.

Didn't solve my problem. No follow up appointment after prescribing a 1st time medication. Office can't schedule ordered tests. Just a big waste of my time, glad my insurance covered most of the cost. The visit was worth about $20!

This is a horrible Doctor! He claims that one can not visit an ER and be prescribed something with out his permission. Never heard of this law. Five years of loyalty to a Dr. That basically goes on random vacations. Cancels appointments. And claims due to writing me pain medication that he can not prescribe any longer. This is only due to going to the ER and the doctor knowing I'm on oxycodone. And my husband picks up the two prescriptions. One is tramodol and due to this he says he will not see me again! Check the BBB. Because I'm having other health issues and had to go to ER because I almost died! And he claims he can't see me due to my husband filling 15 tramodol. So, I'm suppose to not go to the ER? I never asked for anything for pain. I'm beyond hurt and will be suing him. Has no idea I had to consult with him about a thyroid problem! I could have died due to having a thyroid storm. And after five years he will not prescribe me pain medicine any longer. When I'm one of his loyal… patients. That can't even function without the pain meds. Due to the pain I suffer from a horrible accident. Yet, due to other people abusing it, I have to suffer. I contacted my lawyer today and he said I'm in no wrong and many law suits are being filed against him. Most heartless Doctor I've ever met. I will get this taken care of through my attorney. God knows this is beyond insane!

Great and knowledgeable doctor. He has taken wonderful care of me for the last 3 years.
