Dr. Gordon Howard Robinson, MD

Unreliable, always late. Always typing while I was talking. Waste of my time.

This guy cares less about you and your well being and more about being some kind of rogue DEA agent. Baseless accusations and questions about medication. Intentionally makes it difficult to get your medicine refilled. I'm not sure why he went into practice to be honest. And im not sure why anyone would see him. By far the worst psychiatrist in St. Louis. Doesn't matter what age you are, if you see Dr. Robinson you will be treated like an addict. Beware. Just go check the google reviews. It's not just me.

This guy's pockets are lines with the Rx companies. You can't say a word without him taking out his prescription pad.

Appointments canceled day of multiple times. Staff did not submit approvals and/ or reapproval to insurance. Submissions to insurance and pharmacy dealer by days or weeks. Staff rude and lied during conversations on multiple occasions. I really liked him as a physician and think he's better than a majority of psychiatrists. But the problems are to frequent and numerous and interactions with staff actually caused mental health symptoms.

Dr. Robinson heavily over medicated me to the point that I was toxic. He also misdiagnosed me and created numerous problems for me that will probably haunt me for the rest of my life. In short, I trusted him and thought he was being honest with me, instead he harmed me and I'm lucky to be alive. I know that sounds dramatic, but it is true. I still don't understand why he did this to me and probably never will because I've decided to walk away from it and be happy that I'm alive. I would say beware and ALWAYS get a second opinion!

Dr Robinson and his staff are helpful, pleasant , understanding and dedicated. Clearly hardworking and committed in a difficult, sensitive, complex and emotional patient group.

Dr. Robinson is compassionate, down-to-earth, understanding human being and detail-oriented highly intelligent, logical and anatical clynician. A well-trained professional with a keen and perceptive mind, Dr. Robinson will diagnose your condition and will treat it SUCCESSFULLY! This doctor is unique, should you beccome his patient, consider yourself blessed. I do.

I have been going to Dr. Robinson for several years and had been struggling with severe depression for many years. Dr. Robinson has been able to stabilize me and actually get me to move forward from the depression. He is the best psychiatrist I have ever been to and I highly recommend him if you need a good, thorough, caring psychiatrist. He is wonderful!

Dr. Robinson is someone I would highly recommend to anyone that is seeking a awesome psychritrist. He takes the time to listen to you, and at the end of the session he suggests things to do, or medicines to take. If you dont understand something he is saying, he explains it to you in another way that you can understand. I dont know why I didnt go see him years ago. I feel completely comfortable talking to him. He doesnt just you by any means!!! Great Guy!!
