Dr. Gurneet Singh Kohli, MD

He takes the time to find out what is wrong and then works toward the cure. Great Doctor.

I've been going to Dr Kohli for a number of years now and I'm beginning to feel as every time that I go in, I am being sold something. Either suggestions on medications that I did not initially go in for or testing that seems excessive, I always leave feeling like I am paying for unnecessary services. I am not one of considerable wealth and I don't often get ill but to go in once or twice a year to have my deductible met within a few meetings seems odd to me. This in not unique to Dr. G. Kohli but with his wife and his PA's as well. It's frustrating because I do think that he is a great Doctor however, I do feel like he pushes certain products (drugs) at different times by being in the pocket of pharmaceutical companies or other testing facilities. After all, it is a business. That being said, his receptionists leave a lot to be desired in the sense of providing a polite and friendly customer service experience. I work in the service and sales arena so I understand how these… things work however I am not familiar with dealing with insurance and such. When you are seeing people in perhaps their worst state, I feel like some cheerfulness, politeness, patience, and a willingness to help those not versed in the way that things operate on an insurance or medical field would really go a long way in making someone that is feeling bad feel welcome and cared for rather than being an annoyance. I can't imagine that one would have a difficult time finding another primary care physician in this city. All in all, he is a good Dr with a great bedside manner. He seems to care and takes his time with his patients. If his receptionists and nurses had his demeanor, I probably would have rated higher.

Relaxed and thoughtful. Husband/Wife team is an advantage for patients.

Fabulous diagnostician--he discovered a reason for my constant upper respiratory problems that 4 other doctors were unable to find.

He is awesome, takes as much time as needed, does not rush you in and out. Wonderful bedside manner.

Dr. Gurneet Kohli is knowledgeable, easy to speak with, has a sense of humor and does not make you feel rushed. After working in hospitals for over 35 years this is the type of doctor I enjoyed working with and the type I want for my doctor!
