Dr. Heidi Fischer, MD

Awful practice. I had called and schedule an appointment 4 months ago and requested a specific date, one week before my appointment they had rescheduled my appointment to a different day without asking me if its ok with me. Needless to say they have rescheduled my appointment that is 7 months out. Apperently Dr.Fischer no longer sees patients on the date that I have requested, but she did at the time when I had called and requested that day. That is unprofessional. Will never ever call that office again

Was referred to Dr. Fischer for removal of a chalazion on my upper left eyelid. Other than a small scheduling glitch, tedious paper work and an unnecessary vision test, the actual surgery procedure was excellent. Dr. Fischer was personable and kept me informed at all times. Even had me hold a teddy bear to squeeze during injections. In addition to removing the chalazion, she removed a half dozen other growths in the vicinity of both eyes at no extra fee. She accurately told me what to expect and do regarding recovery.

just had cataract surgery and not only did all work out very well but I felt comfortable with the whole process from the first check ups and diagnosis to post surgery follow up dr Fischer makes you feel very comfortable and secure. Coupled with getting the job done right - not much more you can ask for!

Very poor bedside manner when i came in for a chalazion removal. It was my first time at this office and first time having the procedure - scheduling was a mess (the office staff said that i would likely have the procedure done on the same day as evaluation, which I requested, since I'd already seen and been diagnosed by my regular eye doc. Then this doctor said the opposite, that I would need to come back another day), and communication between the tech, doctor and me was terrible. I was left alone in the room for 25 minutes while the doctor figured out if he could do the procedure that day, then returned with a surgical tray and just started prepping without telling me what he was doing or what to expect. I had to ask what they were doing before they dug in. While administering the injections, the doctor made an inappropriate joke about how I was keeping him from his other surgical duties. I don't know what to compare the procedure to, since I've never had it done before, but I think… I should have been advised NOT to drive home (vision was very blurry for some time afterwards). When I walked out, I was in some pain and asked for an ice pack for my eye. The tech handed me the one I had used previously during prep, which was already warm. Wish I had been referred somewhere else.

Worst experience of my life. Rude staff waited 1 hour for a 3 minute eye exam. My eyes did not even have enough time to dilate! Dr. Fisher does not care about her patients at all.

This office is yet another that feels doctors do not need to provide customer service. Ridiculous wait times and not a care in the world if patients in the waiting room just get up and leave. Save yourself the time and find a provider that values its customers.

I had made my appoint with Dr Fischer only to be told I would be seeing her assoicate ( not an md). As I sat in the waiting room, a young mother and her teenage daughter were checking out. The same assoicate told them "she had to bill them as a medical appointment" for her daughter had a headache. When I was seen, I was told "they had to bill me a little more, because there was a history of glaumoca in my family". My exam finished, my eyes dialted and send home. No reversal drops offered or warnings about driving. All I was told was my eyes might be a little light sensitive. Charged $450 for this exam!!!!!!!

Dr. Fischer is highly professional, caring, accommodating.I recommend her highly.

Dr. Fisher is a very caring and knowledgable physcian. My daughter has seen her twice and both time she has spent a 1/2 hour with us. would highly recommend Dr. Fisher
