Dr. Ioannis Zouzias, MD

Dr. Zouzias performed surgery on my hip after a fall I experienced at home. Needless to say, I was devastated! Taken by ambulance to Winthrop Hospital emergency room, a series of tests were taken and it was determined I had a fracture. It was then I met Dr. Zouzias. One look at him and listening to his reassurance that I would be up and walking within 24 hours after he performed surgery, gave me the confidence and faith in him to calm down and believe him. His bedside manner and gentleness is beyond words. Once the surgery was over, he was right there! And, I was really up and walking. If not for him, who he is as a "PERSON" AND A Doctor, an EXCELLENT Surgeon, my recovery would not have been as great as it was. My follow up visits to his office have been the same. His encouragement and examinations have been consistent with my initial evaluation of this "Surgeon with a HEART!
