Haace tres meses tuve una segunda cirujia con el Dr. Alvarez, la primera fue lumbar hace dos anos y esta fue una fusion de 4 vertebras cervicales con otras dificultades en la columna cervical. Fue una cirujia como nunca pense, fue exactamente como me explico el Dr en la porimera cita. Muy profesional, experto en su especialidad. muy responsable con su paciente. Mi cirujia es considerada de alto riesgo, ademas por otros serios padecimientos. A los dos dias me dieron alta y despues que llegue a casa no nesecite tabletas para el dolor que no fuera Naproxen sin receta medica. A los tres dias ya podia beber lliquidos casi normalmente y a la semana podia ingerir solidos reducidos de tamano. En estos momentos me siento muy bien, agradecido de su labor, me ha salvado de una silla de rueda y le doy las gracias a el y a su equuipo de trabajo, desde el Front Desk hasta sus asistentes, todos son 5 stars. Si usted piensa consultarlo, confie que esta en buenas manos.

Up North I only will go to Cleveland Clinic (top Doctors and Hospital). Being here in Florida not sure where to go with a back problem. We found Dr. Alvarez through a friend. It is a sure blessing we did find him. Everything from first visit to surgery and follow up is top notch as good as Cleveland Clinic. For us this will be our new Southern Cleveland Clinic FIRST CALL. Excellent recovery post kyphoplasty.

Waited for 45 minutes, does not care about patients pain at all. Arrogant, HE will tell you how you feel. And he could care less. The bottom line, he wants money and you can go home in the same condition you came in unless you agree to surgery and ask no questions. HORRIBLE!

I am very pleased with the professional treatment by Dr. Alvarez and the complete attending staff. Dr. Alvarez saved my life I was almost paralyzed and he did two implants C5-6 and C6-7, my surgery was successful. The doctor diagnosed my symptoms and explained every detail to me so I understood what to expect with my surgery and after surgery. They answered all of my questions. I put my full faith and trust in Dr. Alvarez and highly recommend him and his staff.

My back history is long since my original injury in 2000. I had a disk shaved down, this helped in one way but added to my issue of a spondy 2 levels below. it put more pressure on it and a month after i was not to good. 2009 i had a fusion as i could not walk with out tripping.. that did get rid of the leg pain but always had pain on the right side of my back. i just lived with this. 2018 the pain in my right hip was getting worse i had been told my stenosis was getting worse up in ny in 2017. i also had been living on shots and meds. The pain Management dr in Florida sent me to two nuro surgeons as noting helped they both said i was to fat and my fusion failed and said come back when you are 40 pounds lighter... well it got to the point i was a step away from a wheel chair... i was going to go back to ny.. then i found Dr Alvarez. he did an MRI in the same office and i saw him 30 minutes latter. He said the fission was fine. i had another impingement at L2 and bad stenosis... He… gave me my life back with a two hour surgery. he did agree i needed to lose weight but he said now you can walk. he cleaned up all the stenosis so no more crazy pain on the right side of my back.. he did say you will always have back pain but it is totally managed and i was told to use common sense with my activities.. Thanks for giving me my life back
