Dr. James Bernard Conahan, MD

I was referred to Dr. Conohan by a friend and I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful Dr. I had my prk eye surgery performed earlier this year and it was a great experience. I opted to see Dr. Conahan even though I live in Fort Collins. It wasn't necessarily a fun commute but totally worth it knowing I was getting the best care. Not only do I see wonderfully, but Dr. Conahan was wonderful to work with. I always felt completely attended to and at ease because of the care I received. I recommend him to everyone I know

Dr. Conahan and his staff were wonderful. The surgery went great. Unlike the previous review, I find it absolutely refreshing that a Dr. gives his time and $$ to help people in this world that would never be able to see with a surgery that people in the US take for granted. The world would be a better place if more people focused on helping other people instead of their own personal gain.

Dr. C seemed more interested in his "missions" to other countries to help the indigent poor than in helping his paying patients right here in Colorado. He was irritated if I asked any questions & he misdiagnosed my problem, referred me to another doctor (a friend in his church) 30 miles away, and left me with an ulcerated eye in danger of necrosis. He did not even remember me as his patient nor the diagnosis he had given me just a month earlier. Did not seem to care and was very condescending toward anyone who is not a "Christian" of his particular sect. Also called mascara "debris" that should not be on women's lashes ever. Made me feel very uncomfortable.
