Dr. James Edwin Stoll Jr, MD

Dr. Still is an excellent doctor. He fixed my lower back to New. He didn't draw out treatment. He knew what the problem was and fixed it. Of course he told me everything that was involved. A little pain, lots of therapy appointments and hard work on my part. If I ever have to have spinal surgery again. Dr. Still is my man and if he's still practicing, there's no one else that will be touching me.

Dr. Stoll is very compassionate, thoughtful and helpful in getting you ready for what the plan to help you get better will be. HE is also honest with what expectations should be and I appreciated that the most.

Dr. Stoll has been an exceptionally caring person to me over the 8 years I have been his patient. I always feel as though I an his only patient as when I am having a particularly rough time he make test and appointments urgent,

I have never seen a more unsympathetic staff in my entire life. The nurses are curt biatches that never give any patient any sincere empathy. Since my surgery with Dr Stoll I am in more pain than I was before surgery. Whenever I call I can never get through to him and his staff sucks

Others have done surgery on my spine in the past, but Dr. Stoll shows great concern and is easy to talk with. Very thorough in explaining the medical issue, the alternative interventions, and setting expectations. In the process he became not only the surgeon but also a compassionate friend

I appreciated Dr. Stoll reviewing my health and healing from an accident I had out of state. He assured me I am healing well and got me right in to see me and my injured back.

This doctor is amazing! He gave me my life back after a previously botched surgery! I would recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Stoll (in my opinion) is a medical God. I am walking because of him. His bedside manner was abrupt and truthful, not sugarcoated at all and was just what I needed. He is the best there is.

I have known Dr. Stoll for 23 years and have been his patient for 20 years. As a nurse I had the opportunity to watch his interactions with other patients and to really see his bedside manner. He at time upset the nurses but it was usually when he was advocating for his patients' needs. My first surgery a spinal fusion with instrumentation came at the worse time of my life and Dr. Stoll was one of the most compassionate and caring people in my life at the time. He had always taken appropriate time during visits but he sensed that more was going on and spent the time discussing things with me. He has never treated me as beneath him as one review suggests. When I have needed additional surgeries I couldn't think of going to anyone else. He is not quick to suggest surgery as a solution but when needed he is the go to person. He has as others have stated called me back to check on how things were going once discharged from the hospital. After this last surgery I am now back to exercising… trying to get back the strength and ability that I had lost a while ago. He referred me to an excellent physical therapist who really did know how to work with spinal patients. At this point I am better than I have been in years, planning a trip to Europe and I know I wouldn't be in this place had it not been for his knowledge, talent and caring approach. Thank you.
