Dr. Jason Paul Garcia, MD

13 years ago, Dr Garcia performed a left Labrum SLAP tear repair. It feels brand new still today. Unfortunately, I felt a similar pain in my right arm last week. I called on Monday to make an appointment for this new injury. They were able to schedule me in Tuesday the very next day. I cannot tell you have amazing of an experience it was from the scheduling until the completion of my appointment. I showed up at 2:20 for my 2:30 appointment. By 2:32 the nurse had me in the back room where I answered her questions in less than a minute. Within 5 mins the Xray tech took scans which took another 5 mins. Dr Jason saw me within 15 mins from my appointment time and was viewing my scans with me. I received my treatment and take-home homework (PT process he handed me) and was in my car heading home by 3pm. In the 12 years of other doctors I saw in between seeing Dr Garcia again I have not once had an office visit experience like this. I wish all doctors' offices ran such an efficient office… and were as respectful as the patient's time like Dr Jason Garcia and his team are completely mindful of. 10 out of 10 experiences, highly recommend!

Arthroscopic surgery of left meniscus- was in terrible pain (it had wrapped around itself) - dr garcia did the surgery (and cleaned up cartilage while in there) and am back on the tennis court - full mobility. One could tell from the before and after pictures that he’s very good with his hands and has mastered his craft. Great surgeon and great bedside manners.

Dr. Jason Garcia is a fantastic doctor. I went to him in May with terrible pain in my left shoulder. He sent me for an MRI and discovered that I had a torn rotator cuff. He performed surgery on May 31st and prescribed physical therapy. The relief from pain was immediate and now, after 4 and a half months of PT, I am as good as new. Dr. Garcia is very personable and warm, and he is willing to take whatever time you need to answer all your questions. I highly recommend Dr. Garcia and I thank him very much for all he has done for me.

I recently had surgery to repair a labrum tear in my left shoulder. Dr. Garcia took the time through out the process to explain each step from start to finish. Dr. Garcia is very professional and personable. My follow up visits after surgery were great and have had zero pain or issues with my recovery.

LOVE Dr. Garcia!! I tore 3 ligaments in my right knee and he did an amazing job on the repair. The staff was attentive with all my questions about accommodations. It's been only 6 months and I'm cleared to start running again.

Dr. Garcia did a great job with both rotator cuff and knee surgeries. The most important part was he was able to tell me correctly when to take it easy and when to throw myself into the rehab plan (Jeff in Montclair)

Dr. Garcia was great! I had a complete tear of my pectoral and was devastated. He got me in for surgery right away and was with me every step of the way. Each day was a different challenge and even picked up the phone when I was worried about a new pain. 6 months of recovery and I couldn't be happier that I was referred to Dr. Garcia.

I'm writing this review after experiencing a 100% recovery from surgery by Dr. Jason Garcia to repair a torn rotator cuff tendon in my right shoulder. Dr. Garcia proved to be a caring and compassionate physician. I was pleased with the time he spent explaining details of my injury, the required treatment, and expectations for the recovery. If you’re in search of an orthopedic surgeon to address a shoulder injury, I can certainly recommend Dr. Jason Garcia!

Within two years, Dr Garcia has treated 3 issues, resulting in surgery for me. I had terrible carpal tunnel in both hands. He sent me for therapy and testing. In the end there was no relief still. He operated on both hands 7 weeks apart. Surgeries and recoveries were unremarkable. Everything he told me to do post op was spot on. Never had a problem with that since. After a car accident, I had major shoulder pain. Went back to Dr. Garcia, again he recommended therapy for quite a few months. Unfortunately, there still was no improvement. He said the next thing to do was surgery. I was terrified because of all the bad things I'd heard about rotator cuff surgery. Dr Garcia clearly explained everything beforehand in the office. His office staff worked diligently to secure coverage from my insurance because it was a MVA. They succeeded. Went in for surgery, Dr Garcia came and spoke to me pre op as usual, addressing any concerns. Post op he spoke to my husband regarding care,… very clearly again. Followed up in the office a week later and everything was good. Now 2.5 months later and regular physical therapy sessions, I am pain free! All around great doctor, thorough care and great office staff!
