Dr. Jeffrey Lee Winston, MD

I have been seeing Dr Winston for about 2 years now through zoom. He takes his time and listens to you.

I have been going to Dr. Winston for the last 2 to 3 years . I am a self - pay patient and I have to say it is worth every single penny . The office staff is amazing . They are eager to help when you need anything at all . They are simply fantastic . Dr. Winston listens to you and your input on your mental health . He takes his time with you, which may cause him to run a little late on appointments, but I don’t mind because I know he is doing the same for another patient . I never feel rushed . It’s very easy to talk to him . It’s not just about getting your medicine . He truly gives you advice. I’m very blessed to have found Dr. Winston and his staff .

Dr. Winston is a conscientious and compassionate doctor who truly cares and understands the needs of his patients. He has helped me by finding the right mix of medications for my depression and provided the necessary therapy which has helped improve my overall sense of well being. I would highly recommend this doctor to family and friends.

Dr. Winston has been my Psychiatrist for 11 years now and is GREAT. On my 1st visit with him, he landed on a combination of medications that helped me with my "Severe Clinical Depression"...the next 2 visits were to dial in the doses....he got it perfect and I'm in a MUCH better place now because of him (I'm on the same meds / doses now). He talks in length to me, and does so as I'm a person....he has never looked down to me....that's huge deal!!! By far, Dr. Winston is best Psychiatrist I've had the pleasure of seeing and knowing, either in Georgia or Florida (and I've seen many who couldn't / wouldn't help me)!!! His office staff ROCKS too...very, very personable, friendly and professional!!!!! If you're having any "mental" issues that you need help with, go see him.

Wish I could give zero stars, went to see Dr. Winston after a life changing event and on my second visit he asks, "Wait what was your issue again?" He couldn't even remember because he doesn't pay attention when you're talking and he doesn't even take notes! SOOO unprofessional. Not to mention he blamed me for the traumatic event that happened, even though I was only a teenager at the time. So cruel and just wrong. He shouldn't be practicing if he doesn't want to actually help people.

Absolutely terrible. Do not go to this man. He forgets who I am and what medications I take every time! He wrote me prescriptions for a dose 10x higher than what I take. My pharmacy called and were horrified by him. And of course- they could not get in contact with him after weeks of attempts. There are so many amazing psychiatrists; I would hate for someone to go to him and think all psychiatrists act that way. Don’t give up!

Dr. Winston is a kind, caring and understanding doctor. He helped me through the roughest patch of my life with therapy and the right medications. I highly recommend him.

I am a wife and mother. 7 years ago I was seeing Dr. Winston and was told I had chronic anxiety and was prescribed a massive amount of Xanax coupled with ambien. I saw Dr. Winston monthly and my husband had to take me to every appointment because I was so doped up I was unable to drive. I was in a constant haze and wanted to die. Every visit was the same..he simply sat down, took out his script pad and asked, "What do you want today?" That was it. I was never told what would happen if and when I ever stopped taking these drugs. When I was at my bottom and knew it was the drugs, I stopped. I had three grand mahl seizures and it is truly a miracle I am alive today. When I went back to him begging to be weaned safely I was kindly shown the back door and told to go to Peachford, which I did. Please, please don't ever go to this man and, more importantly, don't ever take a benzodiazepine. Thankfully, I have been free of these horrific drugs for 5 years and have devoted my life to helping… others do the same.

I have seen Dr. Winston for a while now. None of these 1 star ratings should be warranted . in my opinion. I have never had a problem with appointments (ZocDoc), and the personnel are extremely friendly. If you do leave a message they WILL call you back. I would personally recommen this Doctor
