Dr. Jeremy Gallego Eckstein, MD

I'm 2 days post-op and I'm so happy and grateful. I am feeling fantastic. I want to thank Memorial for everything and Doctor Gallego Eckstein must be one of the best doctors in the world with a great sense of humor. If I didn't know I had a surgery, I would not believe that I had one. Thank you Dr Eckstein and Thank you Dr Gallego Eckstein. He is simple the best!!!

The surgery went well and I am extremely happy with the results. Dr. Eckstein is very knowledgeable and would highly recommend him.

I was admitted to the hospital, the day before, Thanksgiving,Nov 2018. My esophagus wall fell in which caused me not to be able to eat. I was recommended to call another surgeon to perform the surgery but I called her office numerous times and I wasn’t able to get anyone on the line. I went to google to see her review, and I discovered she had bad reviews which lead me to search on google for a surgeon that performs the Heller Myotomy. I discovered, Dr Eckstein and I went to his office to see if I could be seen right away because I was only able to have several Ensures a day. His assistant saw her schedule and they were full but still found a way to schedule an appointment within two days for me. Dr.Eckstein, found a way to put me on the schedule for my much needed surgery as soon as possible although it was close to Christmas. The surgery was successful. Dr. Eckstein called me numerous times after my surgery to see if I was doing well. Overall I’m pleased to have met his staff as well… as had Dr. Eckstein perform my surgery. I would recommend Dr. Eckstein to anyone who is in the need for his services.

I HAD 4 SURGERIES FROM DR ECKSTEIN AND THEY ALL WENT WELL.HE DID EVERYTHING AS PROMISED , GAVE THOROUGH INSTRUCTIONS EVERY TIME AND NO COMPLICATIONS OR TISSUE SCARRING AT ALL.I WISHED HE DID PLASTIC SURGERY AND TRUST THIS GUY WITH MY LIFE ANY DAY .THANKS TO HIM , IM LIVING A NORMAL LIFE AND FREE OF ALL MEDICATIONS SINCE 2011????????

Surgery was most complicated and Dr. Eckstein aced my life. Needless to say since the day I originally met him I felt he had the compassion for my well being.He did everything to make me feel comfortable and the entire surgeries I went through I have become a entirely new person. Thanks to my Doctor Eckstein.

I was an emergency revision patient originally had a 15 year old gastric bypass ended up in the er with a blockage Dr Ecstein cleaned up the blockage and all the adheasions created the sleeve and now I am better than ever! I am so impressed by his talent his bedside manner and the diligence that it took to repair my problem. I wish him much more future success he deserves it.

Doctor told me before the surgery I would have two incisions. When I woke up I had six. He never came in to talk to me after the surgery. He sent two other doctors that work with him who told me that I was the difficult one but never told me what happened or why. Now I'm having complications and I moved out of state.

dr Eckstein is a fabulous surgeon after having 3 prior stomache surgeries for ventral hernia by other doctors, dr Eckstein said he would end it. dr Eckstein also said he would do the procedure laproscopy with the davinci robot, I thought to myself no way. every other surgery was open style and required at least a 5 day hospital stay post surgery with recurring hernias. the surgery was done one day and I left the hospital the next day. dr Eckstein looked me in the eye and said you will be done with hernia surgeries and I will do this laproscopy style and it happened. dr Eckstein didn't sugarcoat anything either. he said Richard, abdominal hernia surgery can be very painful. after my experience with dr Eckstein I would highly recommend him. I just had my post operation visit and dr Eckstein spent time with me and asked me questions and was very thorough. also his staff was very friendly and courteous. this surgical team is the real deal
