I would suggest reading "The Wild West of New Laboratory Scams." This article applies because this doctor's office uses True Health Diagnostics. Without prompting from me, my provider recommended I have my blood drawn at home. That's a highly questionable practice, as indicated by the article. Also google the lab to see that they have been sued.

I was recommended to Dr. Cottel by a trusted friend. It was the best recommendation Ive ever received. I have had no problems getting an appointment and have never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen. And though I find her attentive and compassionate, I value most her Integrative approach to practicing medicine. She treats the causes of the disease the most effective and practical way possible. That can be with diet and supplementation or pharmaceutical drugs but it is always in my best interest. Her referels have also held the same high standards that she does.

Dr. Cottel is caring, compassionate and a wonderful physician. She takes the time to truly listen and never seems to be in a rush. I am feeling better than ever under her care and am very thankful to have found her. Her office staff is kind, upbeat and personable. This doctor is truly a rare find and I highly recommend her as a primary care physician.

A doctor referred me to see Dr. Jill. She was really nice and paid attention to my health issue + overall health condition. I felt that she really care about patients. She wrote down all the details related to my problem and asked some questions to fully understand my health issue including the medicines I am taking and other specialists that I visited. She charged relatively low rate but she made excellent consultation!

I have been with Dr. Cottel since she began practice with North County Internists (Dr. Alan Schoengold). She's guided me through lifestyle changes to lower my high blood pressure and cholesterol (problems of 20 or more years) and to manage the pain and disability from perepherial neuropathy. She's terrific. She's the doctor who will guide me into old age, with grace!
