Dr. John Charles Matteucci JR., MD

Dr. Matteucci is not interested in treating anyone who doesn't have bladder cancer. I have experienced this myself, and I have heard this from other healthcare providers. I had a cystoscopy performed, and he really acted as if I was taking up his time. I was very disappointed since I was really hoping to get to the root of my physical symptoms.

Had a lithotripsy procedure performed. Woke up in extreme pain. Dr stated he used more power for a longer time to breakup the stone. Caused bleeding in the capsule around the kidney. The same day procedure required 3 days in the hospital. Now wait for it- subsequent tests showed the stone still there!!!!!

Waited 65+ minutes.

Vasectomy was absolutely painless and easy. Dr. explained everything that would happen, and what I would experience after. Made me very relaxed and at ease. I highly recommend him. Guys I am telling you, its easier then you think.

I have been working with Dr. Matteucci for 10 years do to re-occuring kidney stones. He has alway been professional with myself and my wife. He and his staff have been great through the many challenges I have had to deal with during stone occurances. There have been a couple of ups and downs as staff changes have happened over the years, but he has dealt with those appropriately as they have occured. When you talk he listens, he discusses a plan of action with you to ensure you are comfortable, and lets you as the paitent, make the decisions that work best for you. He is one of the best doctors I have been to over the years and he keeps a great staff at his side as well.

We waited two hours to see this "Doctor" and then when he finally did come in with no explanation for being that late he actually responded to two text messages during the appointment. Just unbelievable the lack of professionalism from him and his staff.

Dr. John is one of the best Urologist in Kenosha. He is very professional. His diagnostics are accurate. Easy to make appointments with.

Dr. Matteucci is obviously a busy doctor. We always wait over 30 minutes for appointments because he is always at different hospitals coming from surgery. His nurses never give him any messages, even simple requests like medication refills are ignored for weeks. Never a phone call back. His office closes at 3:30pm, but many time we have called before then and the recording is already playing. The only time you can get any service or care from this doctor is the 10 minutes you have of his attn at your appt. Don't see this doctor, he doesn't have time for you.
